I will keep posted. There's no risk with Amazon.es: it's a regular and dependable Amazon service like any other. However, their current prices on the Star Wars ARE simply amazing, considering the S@H prices: discounts of up to 35%! I 'came to the party' a little earlier than the Hothbricks guys: I ordered the Skiff and the Palace on May 29th, and both were shipped today (strangely, through Post.nl: my own local Dutch postal service). They are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, June 5th, but I wouldn't be surprised if they showed up tomorrow. One word of caution: on Brickset I did see messages from two different people who had ordered these same two sets on Amazon.es. Both of whom had also received shipping notices, but both for just one of the two sets they ordered: one was only receiving the Skiff, and the other only the Palace! And one of these guys had actually placed his order a full day before I had! Still, I'm sure they'll get more stock in the coming weeks. Quote
mutley777 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Not to many buys last month. Just the UCS SSD on May the forth and 2 TC-14 Also ordered the 2009 Comic-Con Mini Dropship & AT-TE as it was bugging me that it was missing from my collection. I also have another Retail flag/banner on order from BL. Quote

TheBrickHitHouse Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Delighted with the new gungan sub - sorted out the dreadful original and a bafflingly long absence Hope it isn't getting overlooked by its more controversial sister sets - and that Padme is something of a fans dream... Quote
KurttKrueger Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Ordered the Republic Strike-Fighter last night. Just need to save some pennies to order the Fury Interceptor now. Quote
Darthluke824 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Just got the 9497 Republic Striker Class Starfighter (Anyone thought that this was a long name?) and 9678 Twin-Pod Cloud Car and Bespin as well from the TRU in Calais, France. I actually got a 5 Euros off through a voucher I picked up! Quote

An incredible €60 difference between their price and the regular Dutch retail price for Jabba's Palace!!! And a €10 difference on the Desert Skiff! Definitely going to check out that Amazon site more often. And I can't wait to build both the Skiff and the Palace tomorrow!!! Quote
Daimar Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Yesterday I purcased the 9678 Twin-pod Cloud Car, Bespin (love that Lobot) and the 9679 AT- ST, Endor, from the second planet series, they are just great, have to get more endors for the imperial AT- ST-s and their drivers. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Received my Sith Fury Class Interceptor yesterday from Amazon.es, I must say, for the £61 that I paid for it from their huge discount, most certianly made this set VERY good value for money, I can't help but feel I've 'won' with this set, everything is awesome in it, the minifigs are just brilliant, and the build is most definitely enjoyable and entertaining. The final item is very cleverly built with the way the wings move! Quote
OneSnowTrooper Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Also just ordered the 9500 set from Amazon.es for Euro 76,30 incl shipping. Thnx for the info. Quote

OG Legomaniac Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) Most recent: UCS Super Star Destroyer w/ the Freebie TC-14. A week after I built and displayed the ship, I got a call that my shelf collapsed. Got home later to find the SSD, newest Falcon and Home One on the floor and bed. echobasehoth Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Honestly! haha Yous speaking from experience as well? yes, speaking from bitter experience. NEVER NEVER use those shelfs for lego Quote
TheGreenMachine Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Last few days saw several lego purchases (well, orders): - 10188 Death Star (my son's own purchase from his birthday money) - 9500 The Old Republic Fury-class interceptor (62 euros from amazon.es - nothing to complain about) - 9493 X-Wing starfighter (53 euros from amazon.de) And finally my wife surprised me after she came home from shopping: She bought 9488 battle pack (Arc-Trooper & Commando Droids) and five sets of 9489 (Endor Rebel trooper & Imperial Trooper) for 6,50 euros each - quite a bargain here. Guess it was some kind of sell-out. Quote
Marty McFly Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Grabbed a few of the planets on special yesterday: 9676 TIE Interceptor & Death Star 9677 X-wing Starfighter & Yavin 4 9678 Twin-Pod Cloud Car & Bespin 9679 AT-ST & Endor (I tend to only grab OT Star Wars so left the other two sets on the shelf) First impression is that the mini-models are pretty cool, especially the TIE Interceptor and AT-ST. Lobot in particular is a nice minifig, the rest are still good but kind of generic pilots. I really like the presentation of the final model, with the minifig and ship on a stand, and the printed 'title' plate. Not sure what to do with the planets though. They're a bit useless and (apart from the Death Star) look fairly ordinary so will probably go in a box somewhere. At any rate, I'm sure LEGO will continue this series and look forward to seeing what they come up with. Quote
CaptainCRO Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I purchased minifigs from 9494. I am amazed at how awesome they are. Today I also ordered Bossk and non CW Barriss Offee from BL. I am slowly collecting all the figs I want without buying whole sets. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Thanks to Mutley's pics which included 2x 8019 Republic attack shuttles... I finally bit the bullet and bought one off ebay for £29.90... no box but everything else included... not bad I think? Quote
