What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

My birthday was the other day and I got all 3 Series 3 Planet sets and Sith vs. Republic trooper BP, which means I've got all the sets currently being sold that are on my wanted list.

You might can get the new summer sets from Toys R Us sometime in June or July, you just have to check your local store every week or every 2 weeks.

I´ve bought the Millennium Falcon (7965) used but still sealed. It has allways been a dream of mine to ovn a Falcon, eversince I saw the one Hasbro made 30 years ago. And I love this LEGO model. There are minor flaws, but nothing that can take away the awesome-ness of this set! I LOVE it!

Caught a second 7961 Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator on a sale. Nice ship with interesting gadgets (speeder) and good minifigs. I will try to mod out the minor 'upside-down' flaw.

I received in the mail the Tie Crawler today, It was a bargain on ebay. I was the only bidder, box was a bit banged up but it was sealed, the build was a bit weird and i'm not sure I like it, but the Dark Troopers are a bonus on thier own

I thought the same thing when I built my TIE Crawler a couple of months ago. It is an interesting set, but I'm not sure I dig it as much as I thought I would when I bought it.

Ok, so your Amidala fig is worth 25 bucks, um that means you just got a bunch of free LEGO, basically! Epic score, dude!

At least that's how I justify my LEGO scores. It makes perfect sense in my head.

So worth it and always good to check the Clearance section for bargains like this.

Just got the new Sail Barge, a really fun build and it looks so much better in front of you then it does in a picture, I bought it without the figures though, so really need to get hold of Reeyees and Max. I have been custom building all of jabbas court and skiff guards for the past year so its great to populate it with all of my creations.

Does it? That's good to hear. It's at the top of my considered purchases for Star Wars right now, and even if I'll eventually part it out, it's good to hear that it looks better than the pictures show. Hopefully I'll be able to see it in a store before buying it. I'm thinking the nose doesn't look as blocky when viewed because it has less contrast than in the perfect conditions of TLG's pictures?

I think it looks less blocky. My biggest worry was that the upper deck would not have enough room for all the characters that were on it during the film, but I have 8 spread out across it and it does not look overcorwded at all.

My recent purchase was

The Padawan Menace DVD and

The Empire Strikes Out DVD

Both with the exclusive minifig (I had to import for that), I enjoyed both episodes actually (I wasn't expecting to with the Padawan Menace, but on second viewing it grew on me), they were both kid orientated but had plenty of genre aware references to be enjoyable for me as an adult.

The young Han Figure is a little plain tbh, but I do enjoy the Darth figure with Medal - he can go with my Medalled up Luke and Han (no accessories of course).

Today the last package arrived on my "Rebuilding / Bricklinking the LEGO 10030 Star Destroyer"-Project. I will be starting to buil tonight and it will be some much fun.

I had to change some parts, will see how that works out. It looked quite well on LDD.

Bought 5 Hoth Han Solos off eBay because one that I'd previously bought got lost in the post . Got a good deal on five so will try to do some trades at some point. And just picked up Sebulba's Podracer and Tatooine - seemed rude not to buy it at only £3!
