Well... technically one isn't an Officer, per se. Nice job on snagging the LT, though! Fingers crossed that he'll be in a regular set sometime soon.

Yeah, I know the sergeant is an NCO, but I wanted to be quick.

I was lucky to get 2 Lieutenant from E-Bay for less then 100€ plus shipping from US to Belgium. They also include a little bag from legoland California with some extra stuff, so that was a nice extra. I ran out of patience for the lieutenant, I've been waiting more then 10 years for it, so for me it was worth it! :classic:

NCO's are the backbone of the Army, you got to have them!

Hi, I recently purchased two things:

Republic Gunship - £110.00

LSW canvas - £25.00, I don't have any pictures but one canvas has vader and a stormtrooper on a red background and the other canvas has luke (Jedi knight), c-3po and r2-d2 on a blue background.

we're awaiting twins in the fall and I had to refurbish our flat and those of the soon-to-be grandparents over the last 2 weeks. When I finished yesterday, I rewarded myself with the UCS B-Wing :)

Bought two endor rebel battle packs to boost my storm and scout trooper numbers for when I get the ewok village. Unfortunately many people had the same idea because the set is now sold out on lego and since it was on its retiring soon page, it will be dificult to find later on.

Yesterday, I kind of splurged. I went to Target because the Battle Packs are $10, so I got a Clone Troops vs. Droidkas and one other. Then I saw a Headhunter on clearance for $35. Since I was suddenly spending $55, I went whole hog and got a TIE Fighter, an A-Wing, and a Desert Skiff. Lots of fun kits to assemble in the coming weeks.

Why was the headhunter on clearance? After all, it only came out in January.

I'm not sure why it was on clearance, but they had two of them marked down to $35. I almost bought both, but that would have been greedy. They also had several of the current Space theme sets on clearance.

Target has been putting up a lot of new(er) sets on clearance for this summer. It has been very different from store to store, but I have heard of Lone Ranger Train being clearanced 30%, and I have personally seen the Umbarran MHC clearanced. I can't claim to have bought anything in quite a while, actually.

Yeah I purchased the bug obliviator that was on clearance for $55 dollars. But I believe they're doing this to make room for other sets. I bought the new Duel on Geonosis set at Target today, and it's supposed to be officially released on August 1st. My Target also had the homing spider droid and the gunship.

Finally got around to picking up the Sith Fury (9500). Also, my 10240 X Wing finally arrived from S@H :) Should have a fun weekend coming up.

Just an update; so far this year (from the 2013 waves), I have bought:

75000, 75001, 75002, 75006, 75007, 75012, 75013, 75014, 75016 and 75021.

Still aim to buy 75004, 75008, 75015, 75017, 75019 and the Clone Lieutenant.

I ordered ten new clone pilots off Cracklink, as well as a couple Captains. I also was surprised to find two Homing Spider Droid sets (but none of the other 2013 summer sets, which I found odd) at a local bookstore- priced at $25.00 each! Needless to say, I snapped those bad boys right up.

Nice pickup on the Z-95. I love that kit.

Thanks, the headhunter does look a great set, I mainly orded it for pong krell and the other two 501st clones because,as I said on the future star wars sets topic, we are not getting enough clones, for example this summer wave of sets we've seen one clone a set and, if you're like me and want to build an army of clones it will be quite hard...

75006 Jedi Starfighter & Kamino. This is actually my first and so far only Planets set from Series 3 - I'm always behind! But I should be able to get the rest. I'm more concerned about some older and larger sets I'm going to have to scramble on... :sceptic::cry_sad:

Just grabbed 7668 Rebel Trooper BP from a collector on eBay. I'm down to just one out-of-production set on my wanted list: a version of the Imperial Shuttle.

Good choice of a battle pack, the rebel trooper one is a great addition to your rebel army. Now for the Imperial Shuttle if you have the money maybe you could get the UCS one. However I myself think the one from 2005 great (UCS sets don't really interest me that much), although the cheapest I can find it on ebay is $150 :cry_sad:

Nice choice. If you would like to buy bigger sets amazon and eBay would be a good place to go first.

Thanks. I recently picked up 10198 Tantive IV so that started my Rebel trooper army.

Yeah, that version "Imperial Inspection" is a very cool set, but REALLY pricey. I recall reading somewhere collectors prize it because the stormtroopers have rare printed legs. Have you heard that?

I'm keeping an eye out for 7166, the 2001 version. I've seen it on BL for $45, which is more in my price range. I'm actually waiting to pull the trigger to see if TLG comes out with a new version to compliment the Endor sets they've released recently.

I got three star wars books from WHsmiths they retold the story of the the prequel trilogy very briefly using star wars and clone wars sets.
