Heh, I might be in deep trouble if my wife knew about my recent purchases. In two weeks I've had a steady stream of boxes show up in the mail, including all four Planet Series, 10174, 10188, 10198, 10212, 10225, 10227, 10240, 9492, 9493, 9495 and the Technics sets 8110 and 8258. I'm still stalking 10030 on eBay, am hoping to find or bricklink 10179 (of course), and will definitely be getting the Sandcrawler once it's available.

Did I mention I'm a big fan of the original trilogy? And I think I'm going to need more shelving soon too.

I haven't had this much fun in years.

^Holy crap! That puts my sneaking out to buy a pair of microfighters tonight to shame! I mean that's SEVEN UCS sets in two weeks?!?! That's at least $3K all at once! The depth of trouble you'd be in if she finds out is indeed a yawning chasm.

(I got ISD and TIE Advanced)

Didn't think I'd do this, but... I picked up a used 10179 UCS Falcon. Only problem now is that I'm supposed to be building an entry for the current SoNE episode, but how can I resist the temptation to build this set? :look:

Also got a couple of the microfighters (Falcon, X-Wing, ISD) during a 3-for-2 deal, and an AV-7 at 60% off.

2 x 75017 Duel on Geonosis at 75% off! One of my best deals ever, and from my local Tesco

It's a great parts-pack and will be a total bargain once I've off-loaded the minifigures!

Got 5 of the microfighters.

Millennium Falcon

TIE Interceptor

Star Destroyer

AAT

Clone Turbo Tank

Was going to get X-Wing Fighter and Droid Tri-Fighter but Target didn't have them.

Heh, we have a pretty good understanding when it comes to each other's spending, but "yawning chasm" is a very good description alright. I might have gone just a little overboard this time, and will have to keep the door locked on this pile for a while longer. :-)

I'm still getting caught up on my "must have" sets from years ago, but I'm getting there. Today I finally picked up 9516 Jabba's Palace.

Nice timing, I think this one is about ready to retire. I love the build, it's one of my favorites in the Lego Star Wars line. Have fun!

Yeah, I waited as long as I could out of financial necessity, but I knew I wouldn't be able to sit this one out much longer - the one I picked up was actually the last one I've been able to find on any local store shelves in the last couple weeks, and might well indeed have been the last one for sale anywhere in town here, AFAIK. With it I have three of the four recent Jabba / Tatooine-themed RotJ sets of the last two or three years, and need only Jabba's Sail Barge; I'm planning on waiting until I get that one, and building all four together at once (the palace, the Rancor pit, the sail barge and the desert skiff). I might wait until I can also get the new Mos Eisley Cantina and the new Sandcrawler, though, and build all seven sets (those six, plus the most recent Droid Escape) in one massive all-Tatooine build session.

Hey, I still have some unopened older Tatooine sets as well, including 10144 Sandcrawler, 7659 Imperial Landing Craft, 4477 T-16 Skyhopper, 4480 Jabba's Palace, and 4476 Jabba's Prize - maybe I should throw those into the mix too. All Tatooine, all the time!

Picked up a second Falcon microfighter today as my daughter stole mine and has been playing with it incessantly. (and she hasn't even seen Star Wars yet...) :)

I grew up with more Legos than any kid has any business owning, but I have an older brother, and when his kids were born all of our old toys went to them. Now after seeing the Lego Movie with my son I was inspired to start a new collection from scratch.

Here is my collection now. My most recent purchases were the Death Star troopers pack, Jedi Interceptor, Grievous Wheelbike, and midi-scale Star Destroyer. The model on the top shelf belongs to my roommate, it is a Halo Megablocks set.

Wow, you are one serious collecter there, Harv!

Picked up two 9485 Endor trooper battlepack, and my second 75015 Corporate Alliance Tank. Anyone know how long the 2012 sets will stay on shelves? I hope they will be up for another few weeks, as I need to pick up about five or six more Endor battlepacks to stock up on Stormtroopers.

Just got 2 of the new 212th sets, 2 imperial battle packs, and one of the new 41st Kashyyyk sets. Trying to get the AT-AP with Commander Gree!

Do it! post some pics when you get done. That would be sweet.

Snagged another microfighter today to push my double-points over 700 from a pair of modulars and a small Friends set to get the freebie. (The Clone Tank, so the only one I don't have now is the AAT.)
