What would you use the new LEGO Ushanka for?

This looks like a custom piece a fan made, yet it does not provide a link so I do not think it is available to buy.

I agree, it's Captain Panaka's headgear (or a recolored version of it).

Sorry, but it doesn't really look like "Everyone's favorite Russian hat".

There was some customizer shop around who was selling cutom molds, but they were never good. so sculpturing was the answer for me!

This peice is an official image from lego.de and is from the Sith Infiltrator set.

For an official peice, I thought it was pretty close though. Better than the old "pilot-captain hat thing" though.

I have/wear an ushanka myself, and the shape (not the colours) of Panaka's cap is similar to it if the ear flaps are put around the neck.

But yeah, the colours make this specific piece not really useful for ushankas. (Or is it... It's dark RED isn't it? )
