Posted June 4, 201113 yr "Who authorised this?" "I think it's being opened, from the outside..." It's been a while Eurobricks. Good to be back. This is just a taste of my current WIP. Hopefully most of you will recognise which game series it is inspired by. As always, thanks for looking.
June 4, 201113 yr Shucks, I don't know what's going on... what game?? Looks cool. Also, before I forget, fantastic MOC!!
June 4, 201113 yr I'm no gamer, so I don't know which game. But it is a really nice MOC so far. Can't wait to see it finished. Oh and welcome back!

Is it going to be inside, outside, or both?

June 5, 201113 yr Though I've never completed the game, I recognize the scene. Accurate rendition, I especially like the design of the Security Guards; never seen anything like them before! I hope we see more from this series, such as some of the critters that dominate it's wilderness.
June 6, 201113 yr Ooh! I do love slope art like yours with that window/hole! That airlock looks rather nice, great use of the CM hockey player visor. The scene itself does not ring a bell, may I ask what game this is from? Edited June 6, 201113 yr by Scorpiox
June 6, 201113 yr Excellent Vault! I am a big fan of the game and I sure hope you keep building MOCs in this line! Post Apocalyptic MOCs are always fascinating to look at and nothing is better for inspiration than the Capital wastelands! Those are the best Vault Tech security guards I have ever seen and the fact they are official figs makes me love it even more. Perhaps adding a few printed flags and a bit of 50's propaganda will make the scene feel right at home with the game's universe! Can't wait to see more!

I totally agree, this game offers such a great potential for MOCing!!!!! On 6/4/2011 at 11:12 PM, Daedalus said: Either way, please build a Mister Gutsy! YES!!!! that would be amazing, and quite simple to do!!!!! The MOC is great, the airlock is really true to the original model and the guards are really well made!!! June 7, 201113 yr Awesome I would venture to say that game is one of my favorites of all times up there with a few from the ultima series and not ultima online the real rpg ultimas. This MOC looks good too. I like the helmets fits perfectly.
June 8, 201113 yr Author Thanks for the comments everyone. On 6/4/2011 at 10:36 PM, CallMePieOrDie said: An MOC from this game has been long overdue. I cannot wait to see the rest. It's not based on any particular scene from any particular game, just inspired by the various Vaults seen throughout the series. This is my rendition of the Atrium (still a WIP): Dunno when it will be finished, but I'll post updates in this thread as I finish certain parts. Cheers!
August 4, 201113 yr Author Well, it's not part of the Vault, but it is the same creation. Yep, it's gonna be big. Here's some pics: Got my new wallpaper into the last one. Thanks for looking!
August 4, 201113 yr Wow, that is some fantastic work, I've played the game shortly but from what I remember that airlock is perfect. I lovev the city you have created too. I look forward to more.
August 5, 201113 yr Wow! Amazing Fallout Moc, and great detail. I have never seen a vault interior done with Legos yet. And yours looks great! Thanks for looking! I see a post apocalyptic city in these pictures is that correct? I love the ghoul and your use of a PPSH for what appers to be a combat shotgun. And are those tan beret sporting figures supposed to be New California Republic troopers? A+ work Skinny Boy. Keep it up as I always enjoy Fallout Mocs! Stay Frosty (P.S Im a Paladin in the Brotherhood Of Steel, so if you ever need some power armor or laser weapons I can hook you up )

It won't be a city, just one large building made into a settlement, sort of like Tenpenny Tower, only not as tall. Glad you noticed the ghoul and yes the PPSH is the best stand-in for the Combat Shotgun. The Tan Beret sporting guys are inspired by the NCR, but are far from California . When the whole thing is done I'll be posting a lengthy bactstory that'll explain everything. It'll be my version of the story behind the Fallout series.
August 8, 201113 yr Now that's what I call a fantastic creation! I'm only familair with Fallout New Vegas, but you don't have to know the whole serie to recognize a Vault. I really like that you are going to fit it all together. Do you keep updating this thread, or will you post it all together? Well done and keep brickin'!

I don't have my camera with me today, so no pics until tomorrow, or possibly Monday.
August 14, 201113 yr Great job! The Vault door is INSTANTLY recognizable and those VaulTech Guards are spot on. Well done using only official LEGO parts ! Can't wait to see pictures of the entire build, instead of these teaser pics.

For now, here's an updated shot of the atrium: Thanks for looking!
August 24, 201113 yr Author Another update, the exterior of the Vault Door: I'll be getting some Bricklink orders this week and next week, so I should have a few more updates then. Thanks for looking!
