DLuders Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 (edited) On his Flickr photostream, Silcantar posted 5 pictures of his studfull Lego Technic 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 car. It "Features remote control via the Lego Power Functions system. Also includes other realistic functions: * Independent front suspension (double wishbone); rear live axle * Rear-wheel drive * Four-on-the-floor transmission with reverse * V8 engine "The PF XL drive motor is connected directly to the driveshaft, avoiding the added friction of the transmission. In neutral, the transmission adds almost no load to the drive motor. However, as a result, the car has only one speed. The speed of the engine, however, is determined by the transmission." Badger Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Nice use of studfull and it really expresses the age of the the car . :) keep up the good work :) Quote
TheAnderson Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Very good, but there are differences with the original Quote
gotoAndLego Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 (edited) Love it and love the studded construction, but I agree that the proportions are off from the B-Pillar back. Looks too stretched. The other issue, I'm assuming, is your lack of bricks. The back appears unfinished compared to the front. Edited June 7, 2011 by gotoAndLego Quote
MarcusB Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 That is a decent representation. I Like the yellow and black colors, they look good together. I think this is one of the best technic Mustangs that I have seen done. More Pics here Of course there is always the Mustang from Alex which in my opinion has yet to be touched. Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Haven't seen any of the rims in The "Mustang from Alex"! Are they original LEGO-parts? Quote
Meatman Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Haven't seen any of the rims in The "Mustang from Alex"! Are they original LEGO-parts? I would have to guess no. I think crowkillers did a mustang before. Quote
