Posted July 28, 200618 yr Hey, I was so inspired by Mr. Tiber's 18 pounder that i made a few of my own on Designer. Then I got to thinking it would be cool if we all posted some small cannon MOCs in one thread to create a kind of reference so we could use, become inspired by, or any other thing. So enough gabbin here they are. Mr. Tiber's 18 Pounder A small Deck gun made by me and a Swivel Gun also made by me.

So take this thread in a new direction otherwise it'll have to be merged with the older one. I the LEGO Digital Designer has been mentioned a couple of times in this thread so place more emphasis on that...

Looks like a "smasher" or cannonade to me. looks good too! Yeah "my" cannon! except now its the property of lego. :( The "worst" thing that could happen is they could take it and make it into a "real" kit (and maybe put a really big boat out too!) ;)
July 29, 200618 yr Here's my brick built cannon. Its minor innovation is that it's completely smooth. Two of its components aren't available on the digital designer, so I'm afraid I can't contribute in that aspect. EDIT: This is how i do some of my smaller cannons also, its unfortunate they dont have the pieces Aye, the $1 catapult is a good resource for the middle part. If you're impatient. ;-) There is always Lcad and MLcad. those have many of the pieces for an anything. Yup, great site for building whatever yer heart desires! I quickly tire from it, however. It takes me long enough in the real world. :-/
