Tech Expert ace Posted May 15, 2012 Tech Expert Posted May 15, 2012 Without adding anything new to the thread: WOW! I really appreciate that you have posted "in construction" -pictures and love the shell, it looks really good. Looking forward to when you have some more time Quote
drakmin Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 Tank 95% complete. Here's a quick shot of almost finished tower section. Fitting 3 motors + receiver was really hard. Quote
efferman Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 beside your genious creation i must give you a compliment: your pictures have a fantastic quality Quote
drakmin Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 Thank you! My gf trying to give the tank some scale: Quote
TheTechnicBuff Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Once it's finished you should immediately put it on Cuusoo, I would pay big bucks for this set! Quote
timslegos Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 This is one BEAUTIFUL MOC. I love the progress and the grey color looks amazing. tim Quote
Sariel Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I'm amazed at how good and complete it looks with primarily studless pieces used for the body shell. Quote
drakmin Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 Thanks a lot! I added finished pics to the first post and here. I'll do a video of the functions soon, it will look cooler in video ;D Here are links to this project on other lego sites. I added this project also to CUUZOO but it's not published yet. mocpages flickr Quote
efferman Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 do you built two tanks or is this picture made with a tool like photoshop? Quote
drakmin Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 do you built two tanks or is this picture made with a tool like photoshop? I shot the tank in both siege and driving mode on same place on a desk with tripod. I combined the photos then in Photoshop for easy comparison of modes ;D Quote
Erik Leppen Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 This is a really wonderful MOC, you did a splendid job on this! It looks familiar from the game, which is a good thing. But it just looks magnificent! Quote
Phoxtane Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Oh my, that looks wonderful! I can't wait to see that video ;D Quote
bricky300 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Can it lifts itself up and transform in siege mode? Very cool looking model btw Edited June 28, 2012 by bricky300 Quote
drakmin Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 Can it lifts itself up and transform in siege mode? Very cool looking model btw Yes, and that's why it took a year to build ;D I had to rebuild everything three times and make mechanics more powerful since the weight to be lifted is heavy. I'm trying to decide what to build next. I'd like some vehicle from movies or games which has functionality. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 It's cool, but I wonder if StarCraft is rated under T. Quote
jacobkristensen Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 It really cool, I hope to since on cuusoo soon(plz post a link). Do the middle track have drive on them? Quote

technicmad Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 How much do I need to beg to get instructions and parts list for this? Quote
drakmin Posted July 2, 2012 Author Posted July 2, 2012 How much do I need to beg to get instructions and parts list for this? Thanks for all comments. Video is in the making. I think I don't have enough time to make instructions but here's a quick demonstration of the technique used on outer shell: Quote
