Leg-godt Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 (edited) HI, I would like to ask everyone to vote for my two entries in a contest that's really important to me. They are: and Thanks a ton! If possible send on to your friends, it would be of great help! Edited June 12, 2011 by Siegfried Censored Quote
Siegfried Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 ...I gave this some thought and it seems to me that using EB to get more votes for this is a bit unfair. Since we discourage people doing it for our own contests it would be hypocritical for me to allow this. Even so, prove to me that I'm wrong (i.e. show me a place where it says "please campaign for more votes outside this community") and you can repost the links. Quote

I haven't seen anything where it specifically says it can be done, but there was a topic a few months ago where someone was asking for votes on some photo contest for a power company or some such thing, and it was never closed or complained about or anything. I would think it rather hypocritical to allow that topic to exist but deny this poster to get votes in a similar manner. Just saying . Quote

I make no claim to read every post on EB. If you want to help Leg-godt feel free to find this topic, but otherwise I have no idea what you're talking about. As a FYI, if it's anything like this then please note that I feel contests like that are different. These are advertising campaigns with rewards, and thus they want people to spread the word. Very different to a small forum hosted contest. Quote
