1eyedjoker Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I love lego Batman, but I'm not big gamer. I saw Lego Batman the game on sale for $20 and was wondering if it was worth the purchase. I really enjoyed Batman: Arkham Asylum, and am looking forward to Arkham City. Would I enjoy Lego Batman too? Quote
GabryS Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 For me, Lego Batman Game was the worst of the Lego Games. Quote
Adrian86 Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I enjoyed it, although not as much as the LEGO Star Wars, Indiana Jones or Pirates of the Caribbean games. But I´m sure this has more to do with the fact that I haven´t been that much into Batman lately. So, I guess when you write you love LEGO Batman you will absolutely enjoy the LEGO game. Quote
ScoutTroopy Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 personally i really liked it, i also loved arkham asylum, however they are both very different gaming experiences. I really liked lego batman because of i enjoyed playing through lego's own unique interpretation of batman and its quite a different approach to batman, and very fun. Also im sure if you enjoyed completing all of the riddlers tasks and whatnot in arkham asylum you'll enjoy lego batman as well considering lego's tendency to nclude minikits and loads of other secret areas and details. I hope this helps, personally though i cant wait for arkham city :) Quote
Miss Kyle Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 (edited) Oh, it's definitely NOT like Arkham Asylum, apart from the Batman theme. It's not as elaborated and full of detail as the latest Lego games, but I really enjoyed playing it! If you like Lego Batman, you'll like the game, too. You will recognise all the vehicles from the Batman sets, the humour is cute (a bit comparable to the funny episodes of The Animated Series) and you cannot die in the Lego games, that makes them quite easy. But the Lego games aren't about the difficulty of getting through the story, but about unlocking everything. There are lots of secrets to be discovered, lots of characters to unlock etc... so yeah, I really like it - but I think after playing Lego Harry Potter I might be a bit disappointed in Lego Batman now. Scorpiox Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I like the LEGO Batman game. It represents the characters well and the levels are fun and interesting. The character custom thingy is a bit of a let down though, as there is no way to set the characters abilities. So everyone you make is essentialy either Batman or Robin but looking different. I bought it because it was LEGO, and I don't know much about the Batman universe. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Since this is about the video game I'll move this to the C&M forum and probably merge it with an existing(?) topic. Quote
aerojfk Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 You can get Lego Batman in a double pack with Kung Fu Panda rather cheap, I think around $20. Quote
SunL Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 You can get Lego Batman in a double pack with Kung Fu Panda rather cheap, I think around $20. How can it be so cheap? Quote
commdr_neyo Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 How can it be so cheap? Probably because it isn't really that popular, and there's no Lego theme for the kiddies to advertise about it. It's the only Lego game I haven't completed a %100.. Quote
