Orlego Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I know this topic has been around before; but what sets are you expecting to get for Christmas/Chanukah/Other this year. I think I will receive two BNFS locomotives. I'm not expecting many more since I was just allowed to buy $400 worth of Lego a few weeks ago. ;)
Vader Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Christmas has come early for me as i bought the new city sets but couldnt wait to open them :-D
sam89 Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I should be getting a UCS Y-Wing and a Enzo Ferrari. Can't wait! :-D
Cello Collin Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 The only LEGO set I put on my little list was the UCS Y-Wing. I'm not expecting to get it, as my parents stopped supporting my LEGO hobby several years ago. My Secret Santa put a MINI Imperial Shuttle in the gift basket she gave me last Thursday, though. So that was nice. :)
ApophisV Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 New Millenium Falcon... Maybe some of the sets I mentioned in the thread about the Norma sales... (storytellers, Jedi Duel, Tusken Raider Encounter) I think thats "all".... ;) (Hey hey, the MF will be the SW biggest set I ever got... ;))
Orlego Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Christmas has come early for me as i bought the new city sets but couldnt wait to open them :-D Me too, I just have not had time to build everything so my fiance may wrap them up and give them to me on Christmas. The sets I have not had time to build yet include... UCS Y-Wing M. Falcon Tie Collection 2x Train Shed I should be getting a UCS Y-Wing and a Enzo Ferrari. Can't wait! I have built both at work and they are amazing. I have never been into the whole racers series, but the Enzo is very cool.
Orlego Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 New Millenium Falcon... Maybe some of the sets I mentioned in the thread about the Norma sales... (storytellers, Jedi Duel, Tusken Raider Encounter) I think thats "all".... ;) (Hey hey, the MF will be the SW biggest set I ever got... ;)) It is a shame that you never bought the UCS X-wing. This is one of the first, and the coolest sets Lego has made. :D ;)
ApophisV Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Dude, I missed so many cool sets, I got my first Star Wars set in 2001 as far as I remember.... :( I still try to complete my 1999 Line (Just system sets though), I still need the Sith Infiltrator and the Mos Espa Race.... For completing the other years' collections, I need many many more sets.... :'(
Cello Collin Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 It is a shame that you never bought the UCS X-wing. This is one of the first, and the coolest sets Lego has made. :D ;) Agreed. It's the longest-kept-together set in my collection. Sits on my dinner table right now, aching to have the UCS Y-Wing parked next to it. :)
jonfett Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 The only LEGO set I put on my little list was the UCS Y-Wing. I'm not expecting to get it, as my parents stopped supporting my LEGO hobby several years ago. Thats too bad Collin, my parents are very supportive for me. My dad likes to "help" me sort and build with it sometimes... I think he wants some Lego of his own. Maybe I could get him an xpod for Christmas.. I am expecting the UCS y-wing and UCS snowspeeder as this is a set I never bought last year. Maybe I will get a few other small things too! Jon.
Orlego Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 My mother once again supports my Lego addiction and her boyfriend is a huge model railroader and hated everything about the Lego trains until he seen my 7 car Super Chief. Now he owns a full SC set. :D
Jipay Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 my mum is also not supporting my hobby anymore, but Cl
ImperialJohn Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 None for me :'( I know since I by all my christmas presents myself :$ I think (but of cause hope) And this year it's "return of the King" special limited collectors super edition and SW 4-6 ;)
medib Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Don't Feel bad, Imperial John. I'm in the same boat. My family thinks I have too much Lego already... (we all know this is bull sh!%, what is too much Lego?) :oD I also purchased the LOTR Return of the King extended DVD, a must own (the whole trilogy is must own, and would have made a killer Lego theme, IMHO) :f) Anyways, the only thing lego-wise was a Jack Stone tooth brush. Though in a couple of weeks, I will buy the Castle of Morcia and the Grand Tournament, and probably 2 World City Train Crossings. Peace out, Ben M.
ApophisV Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Anyways, the only thing lego-wise was a Jack Stone tooth brush. Huh????? :() 8-| :/ *wacko* :^D You don't use it, do you?!? (I'd never stick anything Jack-Stone-related into my mouth..... :P)
ImperialJohn Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Update: My wife felt sorry for me not getting any Lego for christmas :$ So now I have an UCS Snowspeeder comming :oD (Since it is on 10% off on S@H :P )
Orlego Posted January 3, 2005 Author Posted January 3, 2005 Anyways, the only thing lego-wise was a Jack Stone tooth brush. Huh????? :() 8-| :/ *wacko* :^D You don't use it, do you?!? (I'd never stick anything Jack-Stone-related into my mouth..... :P) Ha ha ha, my mother also got me a Jack Stone toothbrush. Even if I wanted to use this, it is made for a kid and the toothbrush head is very small. It would take me two days to brush my teeth with it since I'm 27.
