November 8, 201113 yr Just ordered 3939 Cargo Train from Amazon.fr. This is the third train I've picked up since I got into this craze about a month ago.....
November 10, 201113 yr Wow.... all these trains!! I only have the 7740 for now. Where do you keep all these trains? On display? -Or in boxes hidden away?
November 10, 201113 yr Where do you keep all these trains? On display? -Or in boxes hidden away? I have three on one shelf... it's annoying because I'd be wasting space if I only put one, but of course the ones in the front block the ones in the back, so you really have to go look and move them around a bit. On another shelf I have a double wide bridge I made with a couple of engines and cars on it for display (I never used it in a layout). On the shelf in front of that is the Toy Story train... better than the first shelf because things are easier to see. My other trains are boxed... the Christmas train comes out for the holidays, and sometimes I dig out some other ones to play with since it's the only time of year that I have a display up and ready to play with for over a month.
November 11, 201113 yr I have: 1 Green Emerald Night 1 Red Emerald Night 1 x 10219 Maersk 1 x 7939 Cargo train + 2 extra engines 1 x 7938 Passenger train 1 x 7597 Toy Story train 1 x 7989 Cargo train 1 x 3677 Cargo train 1 x 7897 Passenger train plus a couple of Hogwarts trains...... And a few MOCs in progress Maybe my wife is right, I have too many trains..... Nah, no such thing
November 11, 201113 yr Where do you keep all these trains? On display? -Or in boxes hidden away? I keep mine on the shelf - a big shelf
November 11, 201113 yr I have updated my train count, from June 2011, since reorganizing my storage room and apparently I missed a few and bought a few... There are actually 41 Engines, 124 rolling stock. 16 MOCs and Mods on the list on page 2... and it continues Edited February 25, 201510 yr by LEGO Guy Bri
November 14, 201113 yr I only have the Passenger Train from this past year, but I am hoping to get the Red Cargo Train soon, and will add it to my layout. Edited November 14, 201113 yr by Captain J
November 15, 201113 yr Let me see... I own only one LEGO set, this is the maersk train, without any motorisation. MOCs (hungarian colors) Stadler FLIRT (5341) electric motor unit - 9V Gigant (V63) electric locomotive - 9V + 4 freight cars (no exact type, fantasy mix of Faccp and U waggons) Siemens Taurus (1047) electric locomotive - PF on RC base + 1 Bpmz IC passanger car + By passanger car + ABy passanger car Muki freight tram car from Budapest - PF + 2 axle freight car Dacia (M47) diesel shunting locomotive - 9V, but made by girlfriend So, only 6 trains.
February 1, 201213 yr I started collecting Lego a few months ago. Started with Technic, Star Wars and Toy Story. But after stumbled upon this thread just 2 weeks ago, I now have: 6x Emerald Nights 2x Maersk 1x Hogwarts Express 1x TS Western Train 1x Yellow Cargo (coming) 1x Red Passenger (coming) I would love to have the Hobby Train and Holiday Trains, but their prices now are way above the RRP, I just could not bring myself to buy them.
February 1, 201213 yr Red Cargo train Yellow Cargo train Emerald Night Maersk The yellow and red cargo trains were my first. Just before Christmas my girlfriend made me buy the Emerald Night because the red and yellow cargo trains "weren't suitable" for display because they "weren't Christmasy enough." The Emerald is OK but I love freight trains. It all worked out when she surprised me with the Maersk on Christmas day.
February 1, 201213 yr I don't have many actually. Just the following:- Emerald Night. Maersk. Red passenger train. Yellow Cargo train. Bessborough. (A MOC I built from picture in railway book.) I hope to buy the Red cargo train later this year when I have some cash. I have them all in a box with all the other stuff as I have no room for a layout. I did put out a couple of tracks just for a couple of days over Christmas, but even then we were tripping over them. Hopefully I'll be able to get some flat bed / shelving laid down around the garden wall during the summer and run them around the garden. I'm hoping the IR will work outside (Although I have not heard good reports of this.) as my garden is quite small and enclosed by high walls on three sides and the house on the other. We will have to see though, if they won't work outside it will be a pointless exercise of course.
February 2, 201213 yr These photos were taken a bit over a year ago, since then I have added several other new items as well as rebuilding some of the older stock, the electric locomotives pictured here have the old school Lego 2881 pantograph shoes which have been replaced by more authentic looking pantographs. Hopefully in a month or 2 I might be able to get a group picture showing all the updates and new builds.
February 2, 201213 yr Two, Emerald Night and the yello cargo train ('cept I destroyed that and used the motor for a nice little steam train) I need more trains.
February 2, 201213 yr After rebuilding it, the BNSF Train is the only Lego Train set I own. It doesn't have any stickers on it due to me losing them.

February 9, 201213 yr I have the Maersk train, and my wife bought the red passenger train last weekend, which we are going to build tonight. And terrorize the cats. They are deathly afraid of (but fixated on) the train sets. Well... this was my first powered train and it did have the intended effect on my Big Cat Rusty :) Edited February 11, 201213 yr by TheBrickster Double-post merged.
February 10, 201213 yr Only two, the Maersk and Emerald Night. Planning to get both the read and yellow cargo trains along with the passenger train. Edited February 10, 201213 yr by Legobrandon
February 12, 201213 yr I have nearly all trains from 1991 - 2012 (9v, RC and PF), some trains 2, 3 or 4 of each. Missing a few trains as Metroliner and two others from early 9v. A few "mod" as Santa Fe El Capitan (great train of James Mathis). Some norwegian moc trains in 8 wide.
