Henrik Ludvigsen Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 How long did it take you to aquire your entire warehouse collection? I had some trains from my childhood - the collection Was collected from december 2011 to May 2013. Henrik Quote

Henrik Ludvigsen Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 So in less than 2 years you've accumulated 1.3 tonnes of Lego? Are you perhaps related to Maersk McKinney-Møller? No, would be nice.... Most of the tracks are donated from other fans around the whole World for the project. I have received more than 600 packages containing blue tracks and White sleepers. If you have 50.000 White sleepers it is pretty heavy. So no - I have not spent a lot of money on this. Henrik Quote

Man with a hat Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Well, I have the following trains: All standard LEGO sets although I made all my HE carriages with Jacobs bogies. I did build one 7 wide, 52 long passenger car for the EN and there are plans for more. And to be honest the 7725 and 171 are in storage but complete. Quote

How's the pulling power on the HE with 8 cars? Do you run 4 motors? Could you show a picture of the 52 long passenger car? I'm just curious as to how it looks. Quote

I guess the Jacobs bogies and the relative light weight of the carriages help as well. I showed my passenger car earlier but it has been a while: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59830&hl=%2Bwide+%2Blong You can probably find more examples of others as well. Quote
snowvictim Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Thanks for sharing! :) Wow. The Emerald Night carriage looks incredible. Way to go. ;) As for the Horizon Express, I'd say they're anything but light, even in relative terms. :P Quote

I've got my hands on: - Horizon Express - 60051 (x2) - 60052 Additionally, I bought the necessary pieces in BrickLink to build the tram in Lego model 8404 but in red and yellow colours. And I have motorized them. They are pretty quick! Haha! Quote
