Does anyone else think Lego used the wrong helmet on the Imperial Trooper?

They look like they have a black version of the Rebel Fleet Trooper:

But Lego used the AT-ST helmet for them. I wonder if they will ever release a new version that is more accurate.

Possibly weigh up the possibltys

For

* Done on Viedo games.

* Perfet mould already.

* More accurate than the current version

They should have used the same helmet they used for the rebels in the BP.

Just in a black version of course

That would have been perfect in my opinion.

So they actually already have a perfect mold design.

I think it is just as master brick said: Because they did it in the games. But the whe have the question, why they did it in the game

The reference pic shown here does resemble the rebel troop helmet from that angle. However, unlike the rebel helmet, the Imperial Navy Trooper helmet slopes outwards at the sides quite drastically. When viewed from the front it is 'closer' to the headpiece TLG have used. IMHO it's debatable which mould would be preferable.

I think if Lego had made a new more accurate helmet the size of it would look ridiculous (probably something akin to Dark Helmet himself).

Because the CGI model of the AT-ST Driver helmet is so much simpler than that of the Rebel Trooper helmet.

Or maybe they just didn't want the Fleet Trooper helmet to look too much like Vader's. Because the angle of the slope on the back of LEGO Vaders helmet is closer to that of the in-universe Fleet Trooper's.

the black samurai helmet is a perfect piece for it. unfortanutely when the lego company decided to make one of these people they used the at-st pilot helmet
