At least from the front, the roof might look better if it was spread out over the whole middle section. I think it looks a bit out of place just over the one small section. You don't need it for the door mechanism, right?

Thanks 'Churchill' for your feedback, it's gone....the roof section I just ripped off and even I was unsure of it's look.....updating with new pictures in a few hours.

Keep on watching !

Thanks for the reply 'LCM'.....by the way how's my name-sake hardware store comming along ?

Keep on watching everyone, I start on the pub tomorrow ! :drunk:

That pirate hat/bandana really seems to work for me on a guy working in a shop.

Good work, lightningtiger.

  • Author

Thanks 'Churchill' for your comments, yeah the guy operating the saw....I just picked that hat out of my son's minifig parts box and said 'That will do'.

Front Bar of my new old art deco styled pub starts tomorrow.....hope it will look art deco.

Keep on watching the Town Forum tomorrow.

The finished result is absolutely fantastic, LT.

Too many small details to mention them individually, so many great bits of machinery all adding up to a really convincing workshop and supply store.

(I will mention one detail, I really like the use of minifig stands and black tiles for the mats, very effective)

Top job mate.

Question, should I include on a seperate 16 wide base plate a LPG tank with dispenser/bowser ? :look:

Everyone's input is highly valued, thanks. :classic:

Lt, where do you take these wonderful ideas and parts for embodying them from?!

I don't have any words to explain my thoughts about your MOCs! They're so interesting!

Especially I like your small tools!

By the way, how can I see the whole city of yours? I suppose it's very and very interesting!

Wow very impressive Lightning Tiger!

I look away for a few days and come back to see a whole street, very awesome job!

I too can't really express my comments through text because it is overloading my brain  ,

but it is so detailed like the oil on the ground and the pipe saw.

I'm a little shocked to say I have 8 votes for this so far, shocked that an old design of mine can get at least that many.

For those who are not fans of over stickering, I'm planning a series of City branded designs.....actually the branding is CITY.

City motors who bring us the range of trucks this year, they do everything to do with trucks and heavy engineering so keep watching for the first MOC coming real soon.

In any case you can still vote for any of my creations on Cuusoo if you wish, so City can expand from a fire/police state into a true city ! :sweet:
