AbbieDabbles Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Hello there! Just wanted to post to all the AFOL out there that I am quickly selling out of my "Robot Companion" for Android and don't know when I will get orders in to make more sets. If you want him you better go get him! I only have 2 left in my inventory! The lime robot body piece that makes up his arm is difficult to find so who knows how long it will even be possible to keep sets in stock. I'm thinking about making one in red--anyone have any thoughts? Kids seem to like him as a Robot and don't give a hoot about Android :) www.AbbieDabbles.Etsy.com
Siegfried Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Hmmm. You were told; Welcome at Eurobricks! Hello there! My name is Abbie and I am new to Eurobricks (kind of). I signed up a year ago but didn't take the time to figure out the ins and outs of the site. I hear you have to post 10 times before you can use all of the sites features--is this fact or rumor? Fact. ..so you post an advert in the community forum with your third post. Please note; Selling and self promotion: New members are not allowed to sell/trade on this site, but we do allow long term members to do so in the Buy/Sell/Trade/Finds forum; be sure to read the rules to this forum before posting there. We occasionally allow exclusions to this rule but you need to contact the staff first. We NEVER allow the personal message system to be used to spam or contact members to make sales offers. If you engage in this practice, you will be subject to an immediate ban. The only time the personal message system should be used is when both parties have previously agreed to that form of communication. We take no responsibility for any transaction that takes place as a result of contact made on this site. If you have a problem with a transaction, you should discuss it with the other party, not us. Quite simply, know who you are dealing with and act accordingly. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Please don't use Eurobricks as a billboard. You may certainly post links to your site in your signature, but don't join just to advertise your site. This includes reviews/MOCs posted on off-site forums. On a more positive note, I like your Android. (I'm a HTC Desire owner.)
AbbieDabbles Posted June 25, 2011 Author Posted June 25, 2011 Thanks for the info--I don't want to spam Eurobricks! There were quite a few BrickWorld registrants interested in this guy and thought I should give them a heads up. I will keep these kinds of posts in the B/S/T/F forum in the future. Thanks again, and glad you like him ;) No Apple products allowed in my house lol Hmmm. You were told; ..so you post an advert in the community forum with your third post. Big Cam Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I'm an android user, and I think this is great. Your delivery may have been a bit flawed, but that's in the past. Personally I think it's a bit overpriced for 100 pieces at first glance, but I can appreciate the time and creativity of actually creating this yourself, still I think $20-25 would be more appropriate. Again they'd me bring an android user and expecting everything to be free With that said I ate my own words and ordered your last one. It may be expensive in terms of the price per piece, but its well worth it for the creativity. I look forward to displaying it on my desk.
