Hey all, I have had Legos since grade school and recently my own little ones (7 and 6) have shown an interest in Lego. So I pulled all of my old stuff out and we got to building. I really loved the Pirate theme from when I was buying them and had probably the most of those. Since getting back into it I have decided to build my own Pirate Ship. My son and daughter have really loved watching this build and it now will go with Queen Anns Revenge, The Imperial Flagship (both new one and old)and Renegage Runner. This boat takes some ques from both the new Imperial Flagship and Queen Anns Revenge.

All feedback is welcome!

This ship is awesome! Looks like something that would actually be in production. I like how you used techniques from IFS but customized. I mostly love the color scheme.

Thanks for the comments guys! I did take ideas from the IFS, and from QAR (masts). I added some things that I thought were good from both, plus ideas of my own, like the bow, decking area, the small boat at the back of the boat and the set of stairs leading from the upper deck area to the deck below. The best part of the build though was watching how excited my kiddos were, seeing it come together. Their interest in Lego has grown and having my son ask about the boat and want to put his skeleton from Ninjago at the helm was great!

Keep the comments coming guys, cause I hope to do another build soon and of course want it to out do this one! :pir-cry_happy:
