@Legocrazy81: YEP. we did the large 5 x 5 meter scene in Gunzburg last year.

@All: thank you for the compliments  . It makes it a lot harder to do even better next time ...

But we shall try ...

I saw a few people ask how many bricks we used ... well, a motherload of bricks and parts. We never counted them ... but for the Tatooine layout you can assume that there were a lot of happy Bricklink sellers

Awesome design and also looks fantastic. I can't imagine the amount of work you put in the design and building, i can only guess. But i will say i don't think i will ever come close to this in my life time.

I saw the handywork of Legopappa in the trench and I loved it !

I'm not that familiar with Mike's work, nor Hein-Jan's work , but I really loved that as well !!

So did you become honorary citizens of LL Gunzburg ?

grtz Saint :innocent:

What a shame, i wasn't able to visit LL Germany on this weekend (stayed in Brussels). Enormous presentation with a great amount of details!

Epic! Great job guys!

I see an opportunity to expand the tatooine settlement with a Cantina.

And what do I happen to have...?

Right! the Mos Eisley Cantina based on the incredible cross-sections books.

Check it out!

I've got a similar plan, to build a tatooine city and decided to start with the cantina as centre.

Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, i got stuck at the Cantana stage...

Welcome to EB, (sort of) MarvelousRoland. You should create a separate topic for your MOC (which looks terrific, by the way).

@ MarvelousRoland

I would advice you to start your own topic with your Tatooine build. That way people can respond to your wonderfull MOC in that topic. May I ask that you remove the pictures and just leave hyperlinks to your pictures. That way we keep this topic all about our pictures ... THANKS.

Good work by the way

Oh, in joined builds like the one we did last year, we only build with Dutch Moonbase teammembers. This is just the way that works best for us.

Single builds like Tatooine and Trench Run are what they are ... single builds build by one teammember.

For your information ... :classic:

These all look amazing! The Death Star scene is superb (although I’m a little biased as it includes my favourite UCS set!), and the Tatooine display looks stunning!:classic:

Thank you, it feels good to be here.

When I have the change I'll make an extensive post on my MOC. I'm sorry for my unintended straying offtopic, I didn't meant to disrespect.

Thanks for the info! Dutch Moonbase serves as a great inspiration, and again you guys delivers! Awesome work.

How can my MOC be noticed by the powers that be to be displayed for the general public, like in Zwolle?

Anyway, again astonishing work, I hope to see more Tatooine build from you guys.

@MarvelousRoland: What part of the netherlands are you from??

And don't worry about going off-topic ... you are just proud of your build and you should be.

Oh wow. And again, wow. These are epic. Love the detail, especially on the Death Star Trench. I showed these to my son and he simply asked, 'can we go to Germany?'. Epic  .
