Hoboman Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I really like what you have done with this castle. I like the Gate House quite a bit as well as the little tower on the front right side of the castle. Well done. Quote
Gilles Gaer Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Great! I like your castle a lot, especially the fact that it looks busy and alive! gg Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Lovely castle, de Gothia! The gatehouse is easily my favorite part, between the flippers for detailing and the statue, but as a whole this diorama is so much more. It all blends together flawlessly. Quote
de Gothia Posted June 29, 2011 Author Posted June 29, 2011 Thanks!! It sure took some time to put it up and it was hard to build modular with all plates and connections. Next castle will be much smaller!! de Gothia Quote
Abu Dun Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) A really nice creation with lots of interesting ideas. The way you used doors as roofing for the well or one of the old flintlock pistols as a pipe looks completely natural, almost as if they always were intended to be used in such a manner I also like the different clothes boasting the emblem of the Black Knights, you've done a great job in customizing them Edited June 29, 2011 by Abu Dun Quote
Si-MOCs Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I really like all the details you put in. as well as all the little techniques thrown in. This makes me want to start working on my own castle ;) Quote
de Gothia Posted July 3, 2011 Author Posted July 3, 2011 Thanks again! I´m already in my new project! This time I´m building an ambush! de Gothia Quote
Pallantides Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I have a question for you de Gothia. I quite like this MOC that you did so much that I'm tempted to make something similar in style to it in the computer game Minecraft. The tower that is directly above the curved wall, and looks out to the water, is that also a gate house/wharf, where the ship can dock and load from? Quote

If you do that, please post some images of your work here on EB! To answer your question: No, the tower is just a look out tower for the ships that comes in i the protected harbour. de Gothia Quote
