HERO Factory Alternative Story

This thread is for a community expansion for HERO Factory. We take turns writing a paragraph about our HERO Factory story. The story will pick up where the real story is now (3.0) and from then on we will make our own story. The idea of this was to make HERO Factory more of a ongoing story instead of just good guys hunt bad guys. You can add new characters, new places, new anything. I will start.

Right before Witch Doctor was defeated, he mentioned now there was only 1 deposit of Quaza left in the galaxy which was guarded by a ancient warrior. When the heroes got back to HQ, they were all required to upgrade to 4.0 gear (same structure as Rocka XL) so they could be sent out to find the ancient key leading to the location of the legendary Quaza. But they didn't know what was wating for them...

Hmmm... a good idea, but unfortunately one I can't get behind. I say this because if the real story that takes off after the 3.0 arc turns out to be really impressive and inspiring, I'd quickly lose motivation for this project. Why rewrite what hasn't happened yet, after all?

In general, I'd be more happy to see and comment on a story that, rather than trying to rewrite the future of Hero Factory, instead tries to expand the previous story to incorporate more character development and thus add more continuity to the whole thing. I haven't yet seen the Ordeal of Fire episode, and from what I can tell it has some decent character development for Surge. But I feel like given his bio info on the website, he should have had far more character development in the first wave. And Breez's character has hardly changed at all from the very beginning. I think the compression of the story into four TV episodes in the first wave and one in the second was largely to blame for this, and thus a prose treatment of the story could possibly have built on this considerably.

it would be really cool if we tried to tie Bionicle with hero factory. Like what if this is 100,000,000 years in the future. So we take it like this, back 1000,000,000 years ago after all the bionicle serials end, Makuta came back. So mata nui realized that no mater how many toa he created, or how many battles he fought, makuta will always return to destroy him. Evil will always exist, as long as he exist. So he created a last group of 6 toa he wiped the minds of the people and found a planet with enough resources, for them to thrive. He then gathered the planets any stray rahi or makuta, any thing from there world to him self. Mata nui went super nova destroying everything that made up the bionicle universe. imagine an entire group of matoran living on a planet not even knowing who the great spirit is. The toa who helped them and brought them to there new home gone now, went from being fact to being myth, then in to a full blown religion. I see churches all over the planet of Maku, churches dedicated to the 6 holy gods who brought them out of paradise and on to maku. Imagine that history is somewhat repeating it self, bots r being born or reborn in to this new world so to speak. In this world I imagine that all hero's and villains have a link to the past. Like for example, take stormer, there has bin one toa who lead a team and wore white amor , Matoro. well stormer is matoro reborn thats why stormers such a bad megablocks. do you see where im going with this? Evey one who is reborn in to this world doesn't know who they were, they only have flashes or dreams of the great or terrible things they have done. i can see links with past characters to present ones. i my self have bin developing this idea for a while now, but i think it would be fun to try to come up with a story around something like this. i know i em haveing alot of fun.

basically what Im getting at is that all the great hero's and villeins r stored in there digital dna. so basically stormer is related to matoro and in his dna he channels him with out even knowing it thats why stormer is such a good hero because he has all the skills and wisdom of matoro. do u see what i mean??? in my alternative story called HeroCore.

the people of meku found mummified bodies from a mechanical society, finding thoes remains of toa and mata nui reawakened the powers of the toa in there ancestors. rocka is a great warrior, hes fierce and powerful and it helps that he is the ancestor of brutaka. when he awakens the full titan powers of brutaka he transforms (using quaza i might add) in to rocka XL for a short amount of time. rocka also experiences times where he comes in contact with ancient teck that momentarily he becomes brutaka, he speaks in the Matoran language, he refers to the others as there ancient names like he calls stringer onua and stormer motoro.

does that make scene now?????

Or, we could tie it into Bionicle another way. Like a Multiverse sort of thing like DC or Marvel, for example, in one universe Makuta was stopped and the Bionicle universe went on as it did. In another, Makuta just fled, or wasn't really stopped, thus creating the so many villains, that the Toa couldn't stop them all, so they created Hero Factory. An idea.

If you want to combine the two stories... What if Hero Factory is the future of the Bionicle universe? Old heroes, called Toa are now "Heroes" made only to be that. But of course in this story there is a big hole. Or maybe another galaxy, there are lots of galaxies in the universe.

During construction he found a strange radioactive skeleton (skeleton of Takanuva), he examined it, and found it had a substance in it called Quaza. When the factory was complete he placed the shard from the skeleton of Takanuva inside the 1st hero ever. Makuro called him Core because of his shard core and extreme power. On Core's first mission his robot body overloaded with the power of the Takanuva shard and was destroyed. After years of research Makuro designed a better robot skeleton to handle the power of a Toa Shard (Quaza) and was ready to make a second robot. This robot was called Stormer and was a great hero. Now many heroes and in action all possessing a Toa Shard.

Stormer (Matoro), Furno (Tahu), Evo (Lewa), Nex (Jaller), Surge (Gali), Breez (Gresh), etc.

Like I said before, you can add whatever characters you want, you can even make your own.

I'm probably not going to be following this story at this rate. I kind of lost my patience for combining separate themes' stories in huge and improbable ways a long time ago. In 2001 I entertained the notion that the Matoran had created the Throwbots/Slizers as substitutes while waiting for the Toa to arrive, but obviously this is the sort of idea that doesn't age well-- after all, you basically have to disregard any BIONICLE story information after 2003 and almost all of the Slizer story information for such an idea to work out, and at that point the story had better be pretty darn good or you've just ruined two far superior stories just to allow for an inferior story that doesn't add anything special to either theme.

While an occasional "X meets Y" story bringing two themes together can be fun, changing both stories dramatically to reconcile them with one another generally does nothing but eliminates anything unique about either story. This is just my opinion, of course, but in the end I have much more fun with stories that try to expand a theme with new and original content than ones that compromise two stories with one another when both make more sense and are far more meaningful on their own.

ok well lets get the ball rolling, i don't really have any ideas on Dialogue while they r still in the tower being upgraded but after that Ive got a really good idea of how to continue so i leave it to u for the first err, ah, lets call it chapter. yeah so u do chapter one and ill do chapter 2 ill give u a little hint in my chapter, well they head to some planets and some peaty crazy stuff happens, stuff that brings one of our one one dimensional heros in to two dimensions. plus knights, yeah!

Dr zib had explained to Core commander of omega team and stormer that they would fly the ship and would mis out on 3 mounts of training in hipper sleep. stormer asked " can the ship be modified, adding a training grounds in the hanger?" "Its possible but in order to do that u will have leave your hero pods behind, meaning that u will have no way of excavating if something were to happen. as well as u wont be able to leave the ship in orbit of any planet u come across u will have to land it your self." said Dr Zib. core was about to say something when Furno interrupted "this ship is the biggest and fastest thing we have got shes fought in 2 wars and has never let a hero down in over 100 years what makes u think that we will have problems this trip Dr Zee" stormer turned to face furno. "thats not what he means rookie" stormer said rookie like it was an insulate. "enough!" core grunted. "Zib make the modifications. stormer we are all rockies now, none of us has had any real training with the upgrades." furno, evo, nex, rocka, breez, and surge report to the hyper sleep chambers at once. the modifications will be done commander." said zib. "once that training room is in stringer and bluk i will start your training." core said walking past the two. stringer smiled at bulk and said "and hear i thought i was going to get to sleep thro this traning". "i know right. i all most go off line every time i train with papa core." bluk chuckled putting his hand on stringers solder. shortly after the the ship was loaded.
