I'm going to be in Frankfurt and then in London mid January and was wondering where would be a good place to buy LEGO products in those areas? Any sales that might be going on?

I'll be staying in:

Germany - Neu-Isenburg (near Frankfurt)

London - Gloucester Road (by the tube station)

Thanks everyone. :)

Well, if you are staying In London and don't wan't to have to trek to far. Then your best bet would be to get the tube down to windsor and visit the store at Legoland.

The other stores are further up the county so they would take longer for you to get to from London.

Visit this page http://www.lego.com/legostores/ to find out more info.

But I think Windsor is closed until March. Any other places close by? I'm only going to be there over a weekend so my time is limited. I'm thinking of going to Kingston but was wondering if there was anyplace that would be closer to Gloucester Road. Thanks for your help

Sorry I can't help you with german stores, I don't know ANY place where you could get cheap sets..... :( (Otherwise I wouldn't struggle with my money that much... ;))

Maybe you could watch out for an Intertoys store, those always have cheap sets.... ;)

Well in England woolworths is always a good place to look some stores still stock sets apart from that though there isnt really any other shops that still stock them. :'(

my woolworths has hardly any Lego, there are a few star wars minis and then the KK2 big figures.

I find that a good place to go is Toymaster, they have quite a big range of Lego but ususally it is MSRP and not often sales or discounts. :/

Do you realise how far from London Windsor is? You cannot get a tube there, even train/ bus is hard work!

Check out Hamleys for selection (although would be pricey) as they are the largest toy store in the UK I believe, certainly very big. Other than that check out the net fo rLondon toy store location, just do a search!
