Big Cam Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I just wathced it, and I'm surprised they showed tuskens, being that we haven't been able to get them for years now. Plus I want that Rancor, you can't go and show us one without making it. Looks like 2012 is going to be a good year for SW. Quote
Ceroknight Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I am having trouble finding it online...help please? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 (edited) I am having trouble finding it online...help please? I downloaded it from here. Note that without paying for the Premium Download, it took me two hours to do so, and I know it wasn't because of slow service, since I could easily access other sites at the time. (I was actually downloading other videos and watching them at the same time while waiting for this one to download in the background) Edited July 24, 2011 by Brickdoctor Quote

Ceroknight Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 One tiny problem brickdoctor.... No pictures, just the sound.... Quote
joopsta Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I think you are missing some codecs. Just DL a codec pack. Should work fine then. Anyway, back to topic. One tiny problem brickdoctor.... No pictures, just the sound.... Quote
P4trickvH Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I think you are missing some codecs. Just DL a codec pack. Should work fine then. Anyway, back to topic. Best codec i know is "cccp codec", just google that and first result is the one you want. Quote
Pingles Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I wonder why they don't make them available online after airing? Seems like an awful lot of people who would have visited their site (and had plenty of ads blasted at them) just go looking elsewhere for it. Old media/New media disconnect, I suppose. And to the folks searching for codecs, please be sure your antivirus/malware software is up to date. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 One tiny problem brickdoctor.... No pictures, just the sound.... Not sure. I didn't have that problem. I'd try the codec thing before finding another download. What player were you using? Quote
Si-MOCs Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I don't really keep up usually with these animated specials - does it typically give hints to next years sets? Over all I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it - decent story and standard and well done humour. I think I liked Brickdoctor's 2nd spoiler best Quote
darkrebellion Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 (edited) I can't believe how much I enjoyed it ! The animation was great, the subtle sound effects and themes from the OT were really welcomed and the final twist was awesome . Let's hope the TLC will release more of this in the future. wokajablocka Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) Just watched it. I love LEGO humor... The storyline was good, all the jokes fit right in with typical TLG/TT Games, and I loved how they coordinated all the OT sounds and songs with the events. The re-appearance of the Clones younglings was nice as well. Oh, and, Jar-Jar got shot and blown apart! Jar-Jar got shot! :moar: Now part of me wishes this video was canon after all. Yeah I agree. But I also loved how George need to Darth to leave the sceen 3 times. Nice to see him make an apperance. Edited July 25, 2011 by wokajablocka Quote
Lutin Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Thanks for the link. And since VLC you don't need any codec anymore BTW. Quote
Ceroknight Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Thank you for the suggestions! It finally worked after downloading it three times I found it hilarious most already mentioned, but others such as Cody calling Yoda 'dude' or puns on shows such as 'keeping up with the Callamasions' and last classic starwars humour, 'Its a wrap!' It seems too short to be released into DVD though, maybe more short movies soon? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 It seems too short to be released into DVD though, maybe more short movies soon? It's 20 minutes long. Throw in some intro stuff and a few special features, and you've got a children's video on the shorter end of the spectrum. Quote
Plissken Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 It's coming to DVD and Blu-Ray LEGO® STAR WARS®: The Padawan Menace™ Animated Special Arrives on Blu-ray and DVD September 16BONUS MATERIAL : Hunt for R2D2 Bombad Bounty Star Wars in Two Minutes (Part 1) Star Wars in 2 Minutes (Part 2) Star Wars Clone Wars In Cinema Oh, and it comes with an "Ian" minifig Blu-Ray Quote
DarthSion Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Ok for the noobs out there, wupload is rubbish find a fileserve or filesonice link, and get klight codec pack and use vlc player. Loved the episode just watched it on my ps3 in 720p HD was funny as hell, loved the vader stuff. I want a George Lucas mini figure. Wonder if those sets were just cgi or actual lego buildings. Quote
mr_saber Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I wonder whether we will see this in actual set? Quote
robuko Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Yay for ROTJ fans! Not sure about that new minifig though. Quote
Final Exit Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 There did seem to be a lot of possibilities for future sets, and features for upgrades in it. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 I wonder whether we will see this in actual set? [snip] Not unless TLG is molding some new curved elements. Quote
Final Exit Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I think it could happen, the midi range has huge possibilities, you can only do so many remakes of the existing sets and as you see from the reaction over the net to the new falcon for instance, fans get a bit upset, I'd love a full midi fleet Quote

Tiles that are bent. Wedge plates with no studs. Slopes that are oversized. Slopes with stud receptacles on the bottom and the side. Macaroni bricks staggered in widths that are less than a half a plate. Quote
Darth Yogi Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 just watched it I would never have known about this without EB. Great Lego humor. Quote
