If you brasso the speckle armor, does it turn black? Bley? I would try, but I don't have any brasso on hand, and I'm curious. So if anyone tried...

I was under the impression the speckle armour was actually made out of the speckled plastic, and not printed.

I second this, if you have a close look at your speckled parts you'll see that EVERY surface has the speckles (is this the real word for it?) which wouldn't be the case if the speckles were painted on it afterwards...

It also cannot scratch off even if you attack your piece vigourously. Not that I would do anything of the sort.

sorry if i'm being captain obvious here but i think he is questioning whether the speckles are sprayed on or are imbedded in the plastics. like the chrome silver or chrome gold pieces are actually sprayed on, and when you scrub the paint off (either through wear and tear or with brasso) it reveals trans-clear pieces underneath. question would be are speckled pieces the same as the chrome pieces, ie sprayed on vs actual plastic?

Both Apo and myself already said the plastic itself is made of the substance with the speckles and without any printing/spraying/vacuum metalizing. Sorry if it wasn't obvious.

Ah, thanks guys. It's great if you like the speckle I guess, not so good if you want to experiment ;-)
