radar92 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Any building instructions? What are the blades and small wheels off? No building instructions. The blades were off a balloon set from bit ago The wheels are just the standard city tyres I built it a bit ago, primitive but it works. Quote

PeterleB Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Not pneumatic but power function for the outriggers: Any better ideas for the white gears with friction clutch? Edited November 20, 2011 by PeterleB Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Welcome To the forum . I don't think you could replace those clutch gears with any thing else, unless you use a diff to transfer the power to something else like extending the legs, and then lowering them. asmodai Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Very useless modification... Where is Unimog spirit ? The Unimog spirit is that it is used for everything... why not as a war machine? Quote
aposaric Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 The Unimog spirit is that it is used for everything... why not as a war machine? Half of the unimogs sold are comissioned by the armies, all over the world. I never seen that sort of weapon anywhere, but I can bet you that some redneck has something simmilar in his shed, somewhere in the world ;-) Quote

JunkstyleGio Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 This is how my streetsweeper-unimog is going to be on display this weekend at a Lego show in Belgium! I did a complete rebuild in yellow for the cabine and the bucket got a smal lid! Quote

Cypr-21 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 The Unimog spirit is that it is used for everything... why not as a war machine? I agree. But it seems to be ... too much, no ? The idea is good, but I think the Unimog isn't the good vehicle to make that. Quote

We're a while waiting for orange lol also is the u400 not ment to be orange or can u get yellow! Edited November 22, 2011 by davidmull Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 A different color always stands out in a crowd. And the grey wheels looked so much better with the yellow cabin. BTW the orange Unimog is still there... Here's a CollageI did on some of the projects i've done with the unimog so far. Watch out very large file, but lots of things to see! Quote
