Alasdair Ryan Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 You will be better with two switches rather than another battery box. Quote

PeterleB Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Or just attaching the extension cable to the battery box... tim I will try to hide a little 9V-Block with an adapter cable on the plow. My new brickshelf folder with LDD files: Brickshelf Gallery Quote

zewy623 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Hey everyone. I was just wondering, has anyone tried to make a trailer hitch? so that we can have a trailer either for like a log loader or to pull around another vehicle of some sort. I dont own the mog yet, and ive had tons of ideas for motorization and attachments. Oh and if anyone can, can someone make the mog in sr3d that way we can make our own attachments virtual before digging though spare pieces to make it reality? Quote

KopMaister Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 (edited) hey! i'm new to this forum although i've taken the time to read pritty much all the posts here... i'm deeply interested in lego and i build with it almost every day... i got my own unimog last week and i've been puzzling with it since. i have managed to motorize the steering and the drive, however i lack the parts for to make the rest of the functions RC. Anyhow... i've made an attachment i think at least some of you would like. i took the lift from the Snow Plaugh and made some changes to it... =P i also made a back mounted plaugh out of spare parts. well, back to the original topic... the three-point hitch features: -Lift. -Tilt -and what would it be without a third function :P here's some pictures of it^^ Enjoy [/img] Edited November 26, 2011 by KopMaister Quote
AndroTech Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 (edited) This doesn't make any sense. You will drive on the snow, and then you will plow it. ??? Edited November 26, 2011 by Povratnik Quote
DLuders Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 @ Povratnik: Kopmaister's rear mounted "back blade" is what farm tractors can use to clear snow. Although it is not ideal for a snow-removal vehicle to drive into fresh powder and THEN clear the snow from behind, my neighbor uses this setup to clear his driveway: Quote

Well, for driveway is potentially useful, but for open road and mountain passes, where the Unimog ''home'' is, this ''back blade'' is quite useless. But nevertheless, we have one more new attachment idea for our Unimogs. Quote
timslegos Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Although it may seem silly, your rear snow blade still looks awesome! tim Quote

Stephen Provoost Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Hi, I've made some modifications on my Unimog. I use 2 xl motors for driving 1 M-motor for steering and 1 m-motor for front output and another one for the back output i've also made an attachement: a cherry picker. it uses 1 M-motor for lifting and another m-motor for the legs. pictures are here: Stephen Quote

I'm also planning to make a pneumatic crane for the Unimog, based on the original one, but a bit larger. Stephen Looks great, maybe you could make a small video? Thank you, I will make a video this week. stephen Seen today at Brickmania Belgium: Three modified Unimogs. Hi, I've also visited Brickmania, but I've just have seen the orange one.
