I dont know if I am posting in the right spot? There were so many topics and places on your site.

Anyway, we have a Lego display that took us months to build ( mixed media ) It has a working Lego fountain in the middle. Lego says they couldnt help us build a fountain and had never seen one before. We made one and it works after alot of trial and error :) The fountain in itself took along time :) We built this for 4H, but when the fair is over, there is no way to store this :) We dont want to pitch it. Is there a place to sell it ? Everything is glued on with Elmers, so it wouldnt be too hard to take apart. Also, its not too heavy because its on foam :) Est. cost to build I am guessing $500 at the low end. Im sure it was more then that...just the hobby store for supplies to make trees and rocks were $75.

Thank you for your time and sorry if I posted in the wrong place ??

Greetings fellow Hoosier,

First, I would put up some pictures of this. It would definitely be something everyone would like to see. If you are wanting to sell it, there is a buy/sell forum, which would be the place to try and sell this, a mod can move it for you, just ask. Depending on size, it may be a local pick-up only. That would be a bigger deal here, since this is international, but there are a fair number of us from the midwest, so you never know.

Hello areyn11111, and welcome to Eurobricks.

Generally, we don't allow sales topics from new members in order to reduce the number of people who post simply to sell something and then leave. I can see how this might apply in your case, even though it sounds like the item in question might well be of interest to members.

Here's what I suggest: You won't be able to use the personal messenger system until you've made 10 posts, at which point you'll be able to use the Buy/Sell/Trade/Finds forum as well. In the meantime, how about introducing yourself here, and perhaps post a thread with pictures of your creation in the appropriate forum, in order to generate some interest? I would advise against highlighting that it is 'for sale' at first, as this will discourage people from replying. Instead, show it off as a MOC.

I'd also strongly advise against posting your email address on a forum which is visible to the public, and I have removed this from your post.

For now, I will lock this thread and move to BSTF; I can open it again for you when you've made 10 posts (let me know by PM). And when you do come to sell it, pictures are a must

Thanks and enjoy the forums!

Rufus
