Hey guys. Here is my latest MOC, a Kenworth T370 Fuel Tanker.

I've used the cab my T170 Roll-off truck. I thought it looked more like the T370, and the inspiration was from a Kenworth tanker. Rest assured that that the rest of the roll-off truck was spared, and I've built a new, different cab for it.

It's hard to see in the pictures, but the underside is built with curved slopes as well. The line running through the middle of the tank is where the two halves meet.

This side features a pump panel.

Thanks for looking! :sweet:

That's a nice looking tanker, Ricey! A lot of thought has gone into the build - the shape of the tank, the mudguards, and especially the front of the cab and the engine hood

I see there's even a 'dangerous goods' diamond plate on the back. Details!

I like it, it reminds me of the older Octane ones that LEGO made. That makes me think it looks empty without an Octane sticker on it.

The gauges are very accurate, I see tank trucks like this all the time and they really have a little door for the gauges.

That was so sweet seeing it up close and personal, Isaac.

I loved how you "disassembled" it and showed the construction techniques. That was almost unbelieveable to see.

I thought it was a "milk tanker", but those would be with metallic silver tanks instead, right....

Great job and I'm sure that will gain a lot of attention from the public at Brickfete if you bring it.

Thanks, guys. :classic:

That's a good point. As I was building the tank, I noticed the real one it was based on had a logo on the side of the tank, But with way it is built, it'll be difficult to build one in. Plus I'm not sure of a logo to use.

Thanks, Ben. The easy disassembly wasn't originally on purpose though.

Cool beans, Ricey! I really like the slanted hood. Nice effect there. You packed a lot of detail into a realistic mini-fig scale vehicle. That's not an easy feat but you've done so masterfully here. I especially like the use of shutters. Excellent work buddy! I even blogged it!

Thank you all.

Thanks! :sweet: It's nice to see something minifig-scaled for a change, eh?

Are you taking this to Brickfete too?

I wasn't planning to, but people seem to want me to bring it. We'll see what else goes.
