I am looking for cars, boats, trucks, trial things that use the 5292 motor preferably with instructions

or at least quite a few pics. Do you have something. If so, please post.

For those that don't recall what the 5292 motor looks like I have enclosed a picture of it.

@ Tasmanian: If you have installed Lego Digital Designer (LDD), I recommend Zblj's Lego Technic Hypertruck/ Hyperbeast. He has modeled the Lego RC Motor (pictured below) in the two LDD .lxf Building Instruction files available there on his Brickshelf gallery. Even if you don't have the RC Buggy green wheels, you can use other wheels and still enjoy this vehicle.

Could do like I'm doing right now an make a "small" monster truck with the motor makes it easier to make a short wheel base.

Do you have any idea of what type of vehicle you would like to build, or are you open to anything? The good thing about this motor is it's rediuclously high rpm, which means it could be geared down a lot and gain a lot of torque. This application would be good for. Truck trial type set up.

I have two (from 8421 cranes) but haven't gotten around to building anything with them yet. Their problem is that they draw ridiculous power and thus will empty your batteries very quick (source).

When I have more time in the future I'll probably build something with them, powering them from my Control Center II.

I am very open to a Trial Truck and/or Car. Because of the things I have read with these motors I am really looking into a car and/or truck setup. thanks!

You may try my horse.

That's pretty unique. Very neat but not quite what I'm looking for.

I showed my 3 year daughter and she loved it.

There is however one down side to these motors; they eat up power like crazy! In the early stages of my truck trial construction, I used two of these motors together to drive my truck, which ended badly because of my use of worm gears, which i later learned are extremely inefficient. So if you as going to build a truck trial truck, make sure you don't use worm gears!!

Got it. No worms gears if I make a trial truck

Another idea might be to use multiple gear trains together to gain maximum torque and also so the truck has a fairly low speed. One tip for truck trial trucks is to not use U joints unless there is further gear reduction after the U joint. Otherwise there is a high likelihood of the u joints breaking.

If you don't mind a TETHERED Technic vehicle, you may enjoy building 1hengeresVmotor/ mbmc137's Gaz66 Mini Trial Truck. Here are the

and the photo-sequence Building Instructions in his Brickshelf folder.
