Posted July 19, 201113 yr Greetings EB members! This is my newest MOC, it's an Outpost located in a small island near the cost. It has a little pier to receive the small boats from the continent carrying the supllies for the Lion archers and their general. Also, there's a small dormitory in the east tower. July 19, 201113 yr I am in love with that dock and staircase. The castle is nice too, but the woodwork is just superb on the dock, it looks really good. Is there a draw bridge hidden in there?

Thank you so much! Actually I ran out of tiles so I couldn't finish the drawbridge. when I get more parts, I'll probably make it!
July 19, 201113 yr What a lovely MOC! Very impressive, Pizinho. I really love the dock and the staircase, just like Big Cam said. The brickwork on the outpost is also very nicely done, as is the greenery and rock structure on the cliff base/rock hill. I've yet to check out the other photos on Flickr, but I'll be sure to leave a comment there too when I do. My only point for improvement would be to work into the sand a little more. at the moment it seems a little flat and the streaks trailing off the main sand bank look a little too thin and too many. Other than that the MOC is very natural and cleanly built, along with excellent presentation and photography, which is half the effort! Great work, can't wait to see more. -A.S.

Thanks you for the comment! thanks for the tips too, I'll improve my beach sand as soon as I get more light tan parts (wich ones I ran out too ). And the photography was the most difficult action to do! It took lots of pictures to get these ones! Thanks again and take a look at my flickr too!
July 19, 201113 yr Since I am new to "MOC"ing, I really like what I see. I don't have any criticisms. I do like the woodwork/rock-work and the little opening on the front-middle above the portcullis.

July 19, 201113 yr I am in love with that dock and staircase. I have to agree. That is my favorite part of this MOC. The whole thing is real nice. Great Job.

July 24, 201113 yr Excellent MOC! I too particularly like the way you have done the dock and staircase. I also like the greenery on the rocks and the brickwork effects on the walls of the Outpost. Extremely well done. ~buddy~
July 24, 201113 yr Excellent MOC! I agree with the other comments that the dock, the staircase and the rocks are definitively the highlight of the MOC. I also like the overall shape of the castle and think it was a good choice to make all the areas accessible. If I were to have any comments I would say that the three studless 1x8 bricks above the gate are perhaps a bit odd. May be it is better to build a balcony or shooting holes instead? Another very minor suggestion: looking at your moc-page pictures I saw that you also used dark bley as a filler n the walls just behind the gate. It looks a bit odd as it suggests that the rock continues in the wall. Probably both minor things are due to a lack of suitable pieces (something we all struggle with) and none reduce the overall quality of your MOC - they are just minor. Good job!
