pranas Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I was hoping this guy had pics of the exclusive summer sets, not the next wave of planets. Oh well, still nice to get a clearer view of the next planet sets anyways. And hey, maybe he still does have pics of the exclusive sets just hasn't posted them up yet (fingers crossed). It is still interesting to me that Lobot is in a planet set and all of the other planet sets so far have included figures that are already available in other larger scale sets. So it gives me hope that maybe one of the still unknown exclusives is a System scale Cloud Car or, dare I say it, a new CLOUD CITY! Maybe not and maybe I'm reading too much into it, but hey, speculating is half the fun! Quote
DFOL Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Well. guess that info was wrong anyway was able to buy the Tie Fighter (9492) and the two battlepacks in a store today. Soooooo... how about a nice review with lots of pics for those of us who can't buy it yet? Quote
legolandia Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I was hoping this guy had pics of the exclusive summer sets, not the next wave of planets. There's no point having more pictures at this stage really. We have an idea what the sets are going to be. The only thing that we're going to get if pictures of the sets in current state are shown is more people moaning how bad the sets are and how they will stop buying LSW for ever and ever. The next wave of pictures I want to see is when Lego has made all the changes to the sets and they are in their final stages. Then we'll be able to judge better the state of sets to come. Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I wonder with the planet sets, that since we have seen pictures of series 1 and 2, it might be like the collectable minifigs and we might see a wave every four months instead of just twice a year....only a thought. Quote

We have an idea what the sets are going to be. *snip* Hate to disagree with you here, but there are still plenty of eagerly awaited sets we haven't seen any pics of yet. I for one would love some pics of the UCS B-Wing, and a sneak peak at the set that features queen Amidala wouldn't be bad as well. Quote

My life will finally be complete if we get a new Cloud City, but perhaps that’s wishful thinking. The highlight for me so far is Jabba’s palace, I’m assuming that the final version will be greatly improved, but the figure selection looks promising. Quote

commdr_neyo Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 First post updated... Thanks! One thing though, who's Bob Fortuna? ;) Quote
StoutFiles Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 A Cloud City would be AMAZING! The only probs would be the price! :/ It would be at least $400 if done correctly, which should be similar to the Death Star playset (scenes in a set the shape of Cloud City). Perhaps next year, the Death Star has been out for quite a while now. Quote
Artanis I Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Thanks! One thing though, who's Bob Fortuna? ;) your uncle. I also noticed a few typos, but sorry I can't remember them. Quote
atomicbuilder Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hey guys, there are photos of the summer sets on Youtube! Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hey guys, there are photos of the summer sets on Youtube! We saw thanks Quote
SWMAN Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I really like that so many of these sets have legitimate new figures, not just rehashes and figures labelled as "new" because they have a slightly different facial expression. I also like the attention shown to the OT and The Old Republic. I have never been a huge fan of the CW sets and am glad to see only 2 of them. Quote

This basically confirms Lobot . Next years is going to be a good year for Lego; not too much CW , a few ROTJ sets and quite a few other OT sets. I wonder what the two limited editions are going to be I have a strong feeling we will be getting a Cloud City... -Derek Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) An article over on Hoth Bricks points on that on the picture of Queen Amidala at ComicCon it said she came in set number '9499' and the Gungan Sub set coming out in 2012's Summer wave has the same set number, '9499'. If this is correct then we finally know what set she comes in Also I think they have just put a random minifigure in to replace her on the Prelim pics. The set photo shows her in a standard slope dress, the original photos we saw showed her in a new gown piece. Well, I was actually hoping we were going to get 2 different Queen Amidalas but 1 is still pretty good, so long as it is the ornate one we were originally expecting! Quote
Daimar Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hm, looks like I will be skiping on the first wave (except for the CW battle pack) and wait for the second, the gungan sub (Padme yaay) the Lobot and the desert skif are a, must have, for me. Quote
