Hollander Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Thanks again grogall! The Interceptor cetainly looks interesting due to the useful parts and printed cockpit. Quote
KimT Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Oh; dang! more videos this time from the planet sets... Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Santa Maul.....I it, better than Santa Yoda ! "Finally, we will reveal ourselves to the......children" Quote
TeufelHund Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Santa Maul.....I it, better than Santa Yoda ! "Finally, we will reveal ourselves to the......children" I wonder if he has a double-bladed lightsaber with candy cane sticks coming out each end? Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I wonder if he has a double-bladed lightsaber with candy cane sticks coming out each end? If that were true, it actually *might* change my opinion of this minifig choice... Quote
Brickmamba Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Not a very Santa like Maul, no beard, no sack full of presents, more like a red sith with a snow parker hood, but it will be an exclusive fig and probably will get it nevertheless Quote
Huntleyfx Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 It also appears that the torso is identical to Santa Yoda. Quote
The Legonater Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 It also appears that the torso is identical to Santa Yoda. Not quite. Santa Yoda has a green neck. Merry Maul has a red one. Quote
Delta 38 Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Hmm, Santa Maul. Well, I suppose the figure's more useful because of the red neck. Switch out the head, and it's effectively a normal Santa figure. The hood is also potentially useful, I guess... Quote
mortesv Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Just wait for the toyfair next month. The toyfair - as in "LEGO World" in Copenhagen in February? 10225 = March 10227 = September the B-wing is confirmed from my source. Can't wait to see it! As soon as the pictures gets available I can order the bricks for the modding (assuming any is needed ) Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 The toyfair - as in "LEGO World" in Copenhagen in February? I was thinking US Toyfair. Quote
Mr Man Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 A large picture of Santa Maul via Hoth Bricks which will be in the 2012 Advent Calendar I want I want . Evil has never looked so festive. Quote
StoutFiles Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Hate Santa Maul. While I wasn't a fan of Santa Yoda either because a green neckline is the only new thing about the figure, at least Yoda as Santa is somewhat charming. Santa Maul is akin to Santa Satan. Some characters should NOT be given loveable roles. Quote
mortesv Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I was thinking US Toyfair. Hmm, in any case I hope they show off new sets in Copenhagen as well I'll bring my camera, just in case Quote
commanderneyo Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Hmm, in any case I hope they show off new sets in Copenhagen as well I'll bring my camera, just in case Sorry to burst your bubble, but the only toy fair that allows pics is the US one. That's why it is very rare to get pictures from any toy fairs before the US toy fair. Pics are certainly not allowed at the UK toy fair, and I doubt they are at the one in Copenhagen. Quote

Costy Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 That Maul sure is ugly! I think there is a bit too much red in him. Quote
MandaloretheLesser Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) That Maul sure is ugly! I think there is a bit too much red in him. Yeah maybe white hips would help fix that. Edited January 13, 2012 by MandaloretheLesser Quote
MitchMitchem Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 New Polybag - Anakin's Pod (30057) is on TRU.com (apparently I can't post URLs yet...so you need to copy and paste the link) http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12509483 Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Dang it.... The pod was my favorite of the 4, so I was hoping it wouldn't be a TRU exclusive. I guess we'll be forking over the additional $1 in "TRU tax" to get this. Quote
North Lego Star Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I just finished watching the new episode of the clone wars and I'm pretty positive that the Mandlorian Shuttle will be something like this... Mandalorian Shuttle:Ahsoka Tano, Lux Bonteri, R2-D2, Pre Visla, Bo-Katan, Mandalorian Warrior-79.99 I also think that the B-Wing will include anew B-Wing Pilot and a Sullustan head for anew Ten Numb. Any more information or pictures on the summer sets? Quote

BTW: I like this Darth Maul fig as Santa :3 He looks so silly and that's what makes him cute. Santa for 2012 is much better than the last, I mean Yoda. Quote
sealslip3 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I also think that the B-Wing will include anew B-Wing Pilot and a Sullustan head for anew Ten Numb. I hope we see a character different from Ten Numb. As for the B-Wing pilot, I have a feeling they'll make a new helmet using the same mold as Captain Jag and the new clone pilot in the ARC-170 set. This mold matches the actual helmet much more closely. Quote
Fallenangel Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 The ARC-170 pilot's helmet doesn't look anything like a B-wing pilot's (assuming we're even getting minifigures with 10227). If it isn't going to be a new mold, the piece they've been using would be the best choice. Quote
