Shame they're treating the Fury like a regular star fighter though. It isn't, and you wouldn't get that many flying in formation like that.

They're more of a light cruiser/freighter, like the Millenium Falcon or Ebon Hawk.

So stoked for these SWTOR sets! Now I need Lego to produce a Jedi Defender!

Those TOR sets look amazing. I'm thinking I might pick up double of those.

After a bit of deliberation, I guess that brown "model" on the top row is a droid transport, like the one in battle of Naboo..

I think it looks more like a small MTT.

I rather like the snow R2-D2 in the advent calendar. Is it just me, or does the Super Battle Droid look darker (almost looks black)?

As for Pre Vizla's Fighter, it seems a decent set. More figures would have been nice though.

So excited about this wave. I only wish that they didn't reuse Wonder Woman's head for Satele Shan. I especially wish they had given her silver lips like the space girl from the Minifigures series (series 6). In fact, SW (human) girls don't get much love--Leia is Princess Tamina, Padme is Hermione and now Satele is WW. It's kinda strange when compared to PotC, who last year had four female heads that were exclusive to the theme (one being Kiera Knightly, who even played Padme).

Ummmmm... Padme was played by Natalie Portman, actually.

But yeah, female heads do get reused a lot in the Star Wars theme these days.

I don't mind Leia reusing the Tamina face. The expressions suit her character and the design itself seems like a natural upgrade from the previous one.

I had no idea Kiera played the decoy. I just watched Ep 1 recently and never would have guessed.

I don't have a Leia figure, but I was using Tamina as a stand-in. I didn't realize they were the same face either.. wow

As far as this theme goes, I can't wait to see these summer sets. The Skiff of course is the number one purchase. But I am drawn to the Sith Fury. I won't buy it because of the price-tag, but I rather like the ship. I don't have any previous Jabba or Han or any figures really, so I will be getting the Palace for sure. The Amidala figure is beautiful, so even though it is rather high price, I will be getting that set too since I don't have any of those figures.

The Queen's clothes were made so that any body differences between Portman and Knightly would not show. Additionally, Knightly's voice was altered in post-production to sound more like Portman's. Even Portman's mother couldn't tell them apart on set.

Me neither! But, hey, that's the magic of Star Wars! I just wish that the Clone Wars Padme looked more feminine. I never liked the Clone Wars figures much, but Padme set me over the line.

Sadly it's not the fig. It's the character model from the show, that is the root cause of that. While CW's art style takes a little getting used to, most viewers do eventually acclimate, except for Padme. There is just something so weirdly grotesque about her animation model. It' s like one of hose creepy big head Bratz dolls. Add to this the normal Lucasfilms approach to dressing Padme, ie that she is a coloblind schizophrenic, and you get the result that we see. The minifig tries to do what it can from this starting point. But it ain't much.

Wow, another terrible price to piece ratio to follow in the footsteps of the new Jabba set and the Gungan Sub

Don't forget the terrible ratio for the Fury either. I love the crap out of it, but there is absolutely no way I am paying $90 for that few pieces and minifigs.

New molds and prints are not cheap, hence the high price-per-piece ratios in these sets. Personally I'm ecstatic to get all these new figures in Jabba's Palace, Gungan Sub, Sith Fury and (hopefully) Palpatine's Arrest, instead of the re-use of rebel pilot torsos, Luke, Han, Chewie and C3PO that we have seen the last five-six years. It's kind of an either-or proposition, low prices or great figures, and in my eyes they have made the right choice with this summer wave which is the most exciting in years.
