North Lego Star Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 All the minifigs look nice but I've seen them all before its old news so I could care less. Do we really have any rumors for the sumer wave because I looked over the 2011 pictures and rumors and by this time we had good rumors on the figs and the actual sets and by I think the 16th we had the picture of the republic frigate. Dose anybody have any news of the rumored sets, which I really hope aren't true, please I just want some new information. Quote
Fallenangel Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Dose anybody have any news of the rumored sets, which I really hope aren't true, please I just want some new information. You've already seen the rumors for the "sumer" sets. They've made it onto the first page, which, as you should know from the 2011 Rumors thread, means they're true. They're true! Troll and trueness ON: I'm sorry, but this is getting old. You ask repeatedly for new information and then go on about how you "must say" it isn't real whenever it comes along. Then you end all your posts with something along the lines of "dose any1 hav ny nfoon XXX cuz disnfosfeik" without even reading through the thread. Whenever you're not complaining about what we get you're spamming up the forums with what you want: How do we know there are going to be 8 more planet sets to come,if this is ture my predictions are... I have never seen someone as desperate for new information on future LEGO Star Wars sets as you. Why is this so important to you? And if it's so important to you, why don't you read through the threads and look for new information yourself instead of asking everyone else? My god, the people we've been getting on this site lately... Troll and trueness OFF. Quote
GRogall Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Two more picks of the planet sets again sadly not the Super HR kind but a different angle! Funny only found these two!? Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 The one with the worse design, Naboo, has some of the coolest pieces, those metalic coloured pieces are really cool and hard to find! I guess I'll get at least two Quote
Fallenangel Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 (edited) That isn't metallic silver on the N-1, is it? EDIT: I normally don't do this, but... this is my 1984th post! I hope I haven't become so goodthinkful as to sound like a crimestopping duckspeaker... or worse, so enveloped in thoughtcrime as to be a minority of one! Hollander Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 That isn't metallic silver on the N-1, is it? I don't believe so. Just compare the bley at the front with the stud (astromech droid) on top. The ''astromech droid'' is clearly more shiny. Quote
ruboand Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 The plates in the planet set look like printed , are they? Quote
Fives Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Is it just me, or are the beams on the mini pod racer pink lightsaber blades? If yes, than that is so cool! Quote
Huntleyfx Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 They look somewhat purple, but that just might be my monitor. I do agree though, new lightsaber blades could come in quite handy. I'm thinking about picking these up mostly for the figures and parts. Quote
Parrothead Rasmus Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Well, the original issue arose from whether they are obscure in the film, my point with asking Darth Nihilus to name a scene where they are featured was that the pilots with the enclosed white helmets aren't ever prominently seen in any scenes, which is to say they don't get any screen time... they're in the film, of course I know that, but you never actually see them, therefore they are obscure... I should really have worded post #2729 better... Ah, I see now. Sorry about that. Quote
Delta 38 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I hope the Death Star does eventually end up being printed (at least a little). Even with moulded lines, it looks so plain when you compare it to Tatooine and Naboo's printing. Hmm, I didn't notice it before, but the Podracer's cockpit isn't connected to the engines at all. Quote
StoutFiles Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Love the planets up close. Really wish the label didn't reference the figure and MINI as well; I'm buying Tatooine for Tatooine, not for the Episode I connections. I normally don't do this, but... this is my 1984th post! I hope I haven't become so goodthinkful as to sound like a crimestopping duckspeaker... or worse, so enveloped in thoughtcrime as to be a minority of one! That's quite the doubleplusgood accomplishment. Quote

Emperor Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 (edited) Hmm, I didn't notice it before, but the Podracer's cockpit isn't connected to the engines at all. The cockpit is connected to the pink/purple pieces with this piece - I don't think there are many solutions connecting the cockpit directly to the engines that aren't too complicated. I don't mind the usage of a clear piece to hold everything together as long as the result looks good. Edited December 4, 2011 by Emperor Quote

We can always put two black bars in a non-official way between the cockpit and the engines. Quote

Artanis I Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 It merely looks like the belt was change for the new CW one. The old fig has blue clothing with a black cape & hood, the new one has black clothing with blue (short) cape and hood - as it should. The belt does stand out though. I actualy prefer the clone wars faces, so I am glad to replace the old Barriss with this new improved version. Two more picks of the planet sets again sadly not the Super HR kind but a different angle Naboo appears to have both hemispheres identical... Quote
willybob Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 The plates in the planet set look like printed , are they? Looks like a nice sticker to me.... Quote
AoNZ Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Wow I am amazed at the new figures. The ARC Trooper has to be a favorite with the torso and legs going to come in handy for making more Clones. With the Sand Troopers I can't quite tell if the legs have sand marks on them. I sort of hope they don't so I can add the legs to other Stormies and Clones without the sand look. Quote

The legs do have sand printing on , but hopefully it's a different type of printing to the leg printing so it'll come off. However the ARC Trooper legs will only work on troopers with red markings as they have red legs. Edit: No sorry the Sandtrooper legs appear to only have printing on their feet not the whole leg so a little bit of Tip-Ex and that's fine. Edited December 5, 2011 by Mr Man Quote

I think they have a small amount of sand print around the knee armour too . EDIT: But if not please don't tipex your minifigs - just rub off the print using liquid brasso - it's easy and looks great. Clone OPatra Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 If you look at grogall's high-res picture, it's clear that the Sandtroopers do have sand printing on their actual legs. Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Yeah, I was thinking of using them for Commander Fox. Don't forget the ARF from the BP! And I was counting on using those Sandtrooper legs for my Stormies! Quote
