Mr Man Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 The Gallery still needs to go public but here a sample.... Picture links to Ultra HR versions. So don't drool over them too much still waiting for some pics! Enjoy for now and Merry Christmas :vader: A great Christmas present grogall thank you . Quote
The Legonater Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I got the new catalog, and it's actually $70 Canadian. X-Wing is 75 and the Y-Wing is 65. :skeptic: Well, if I needed any convincing not to get the new X-Wing, that just about did it... Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Thanks grogall! I'm really likin' that new Death Star Trooper helmet and the droid heads Quote
Vindice Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Argos in the UK had the new sets listed even before S@H!! X-wing and Tie fighter £49.99, planet sets are in and the others are £11.99 - £19.99 Quote
Kitfistonator Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Just found out some relieving news! The Commando droids are dark grey instead of that bronze color. Here: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=260921763593&index=2&nav=SEARCH&nid=11397318810 Quote
prateek Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Also anyone with Canadian catalogues, post all the Starwars set prices and pieces? Thank you Anakin's JSF $50 Planet sets $13 TIE $50 X-wing $75 Y-Wing $65 That's it... I'm surprised that they didn't include everything. I guess they're waiting for January 30th to release the rest of the prices Quote

Fallenangel Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Sorry, how many pieces those the Y-wing have? According to the catalog, 358 pieces, which, interestingly enough, is about a hundred less than 7658 had. Quote
brickbuilder Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Sorry, how many pieces those the Y-wing have? Well the page of the catalog that was posted a couple pages back, was the only SW page, other than the UCS stuff. So just check there. Quote

I saw but if you see it, the light blinds the place where it says the pieces of the Y-Wing I know pieces are all different, but a hundred piece difference is quite worrying Quote

X-wing has 560. TIE has 413. JSF has 300. Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Y-wing has 458 pieces. X-wing has 560. TIE has 413. JSF has 300. That's better thank you! Quote
Fallenangel Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 458 seems like wishful thinking for me, but that's mainly due to the $50 price and the apparent decrease in greeble. Quote
prateek Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 458 seems like wishful thinking for me, but that's mainly due to the $50 price and the apparent decrease in greeble. Wait, you think it's less than 458? It says right in the catalog Quote
MandaloretheLesser Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 May I ask how one goes about pre-ordering the 2012 sets though Lego like the catalogue that LegoBoyproduction posted? By the way I am Australian so it would great if someone who has done it before (who is also Australian) would help me out. Quote
Fallenangel Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Wait, you think it's less than 458? It says right in the catalog I manipulated the picture to the best of my ability, but I still can't see anything resembling a '4' in the white glare. Granted, I can't see '3' either, but again, I'm basing that assumption off other factors. I do wish they had given the stormtrooper a white torso. That part isn't intended to be customizable to my knowledge, and I do like to keep my minifigures' joints strong... Quote

I'm assuming they will be available for pre-order at S@H very soon, so wait a little bit longer! Fallenangel Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 prateek owns a hard copy of the catalogue, so he's probably right about the Y-Wing having 458 pieces. Oh, right. My mistake. I don't endorse price-per-part as a measure of a good deal (though I will admit there is correlation), but still, 458 for $50 and 560 for $60 aren't bad. Quote
MandaloretheLesser Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I'm assuming they will be available for pre-order at S@H very soon, so wait a little bit longer! S@h whats that? Quote
Skarkdahn Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Argos in the UK had the new sets listed even before S@H!! X-wing and Tie fighter £49.99, planet sets are in and the others are £11.99 - £19.99 £49.99 for 560 pieces in 9493? Wow, that's good value. Now if only I can clear my conscience of getting a fourth X-Wing to add to the dismantled ranks (hopefully without dismantling this one!), I'm definitely getting that. prateek, do you have any pieces info for the battle packs? Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 S@h whats that? Shop at Home, the LEGO online store. Quote
MandaloretheLesser Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 (edited) Shop at Home, the LEGO online store. Thanks i just figured it out, man i can be slow at times. Edited December 26, 2011 by MandaloretheLesser Quote
smokebelch Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 (edited) Just picked up a couple of the smaller sets from Argos here in the UK. Got the Droid Escape and the Endor pack. Couple of bits I hadnt realised- the hands on the Endor troopers are actually Tan colour, I had thought they were flesh from the shots. Also the Stormie and Scout Trooper come with the new printed face heads- so you have to turn the Scout's round with his helmet on so its black for the 'visor'. New threepio looks nice, like the printed eyes. And love the new Sand Troopers- some shots to follow soon no doubt :) Edited December 26, 2011 by smokebelch Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 All bar jsf and y wing on shelves now in Argos - and mine! £11.99 for BP's Quote
