Sam892 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 can't wait to get some non clone wars heads :) am geting bored of swapping heads on CW jedi to make them look normal. can't wait to see what mace windu and palpatine will look like. i had to put seso's head on mace's body to get a normal looking mace. hopefully TLC haven't done what I did and actually have given mace a new face instead of seso's. also i love the new jedi interceptor will hopefully get one soon and mod the old ones to look like the new one. my way of moding them would be swapping the dark green for yellow and another one for swapping with dark red.:) Quote
CF Mitch Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 For some reason, I always believed that the platform lifting Sidious and Yoda into the Senate will be involved. Besides that, I do not see what else playfeatures could be involved. That was actually an entirely different scene But it would be a cool play feature indeed. I'm glad the Palpatine's Arrest-set might be produced after all. I'd really love to have a non-CW Palpatine. The same goes for a non-CW Mace Windu. Regards, Mitch Quote
LEGOman273 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 How do you think Pre Vizla's Darksaber will be made? I think one of three choices: Standard lightsaber blade in black Black Katana New piece What do you think? Quote

LEGOman273 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 It's most likely to be this piece. What about the hilt? The blade should be removable, so it can be "deactivated". Quote

Regards, Mitch Yes, I'm aware of the fact that it is a different scene :) But when I heard of this set, I started wondering what parts of the interior can be used for a set, assumed that it should have some playfeatures. A desk with a drawer that can be opened and closed again? I do not believe so. There are hardly any SW sets that do not contain a vehicle, but only pieces of interior. These sets are old, and they have a playfeature. So I do not believe that this set simply comes up with a door, a desk and a window; instead, I wonder what this playfeature will be. Palpatine launcher? Also, this was being considered at the same time as the Home One set, therefore it will be a similer type of set. Think about the "playfetures" in that: a moving crane, a moving chair, and two flick-fires; not many, and not very complex. Palpatine's arrest will be the same way, I think. The Legonater Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Palpatine launcher? I was thinking a lightsaber launcher- like in the Wampa Cave- but now that I think about it, combining that with the troop 'launcher' in the Echo Base set would equal a neat way of doing both in one push. Quote

I was joaking, but if it is well executed, it could be cool. BTW, I was thinking of something more along the lines of the "Clone Launcher" in this set: Quote
Fallenangel Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I was joaking 'Joaking'? For he the Platonist must gainsay That will not human Nature obey In working a Joak that will lather like Soap, And y* Hair of her Joak will draw more than a Roap, And her black Joak and Belly so white. ... Of that Coal-black Joak y* will make a Man roar And the H-rs of her Joak will draw Ship to y* Shoar, And her black Joak and Belly so white. Quote
Artanis I Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 A desk with a drawer that can be opened and closed again? I do not believe so. ... I wonder what this playfeature will be. That would cut sick. Flick-fire missiles of course. Or maybe some sort of mechanism that makes Palpatine spin around in the air above Mace Windu... Quote

That doesn't mean that the design can't have changed in the three or four years since the concept was presented. I also wouldn't say that 7754 was "not very complex". Certainly not as complex as it could have been, but not simple. Quote
Delta 38 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 BTW, I was thinking of something more along the lines of the "Clone Launcher" in this set: What, a small catapult constructed out of a few pieces that don't really fit with the set? Unfortunately, that seems possible. The window-breaking idea would be nice, but unless if it's made out of a few dozen transparent pieces fitted together in a haphazard way, it would look really fake. I don't know how the set would be structured though. For an interior scene, somehow I don't think the inclusion of a few walls is enough. Quote
Mr Man Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I don't know how the set would be structured though. For an interior scene, somehow I don't think the inclusion of a few walls is enough. Probable a long rectangular base with a desk at one end and a doorway in the middle and a window on the side past that . Quote
LEGOman273 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 'Joaking'? Joking! Typo. That doesn't mean that the design can't have changed in the three or four years since the concept was presented. I also wouldn't say that 7754 was "not very complex". Certainly not as complex as it could have been, but not simple. I know what you mean. I meant that it did not have a lot of moving parts - it was just a scene; and that Palpatine's Arrest would likely be just a scene with a few, small moving parts. (I.E. not a swooshable fighter with movable wings, working landing gear, opening cockpit, flick-fires, ETC) That doesn't mean that the design can't have changed in the three or four years since the concept was presented. I also wouldn't say that 7754 was "not very complex". Certainly not as complex as it could have been, but not simple. I meant a similer type of set. I did not mean that the SET was not complex, just that it did not have many moving parts when compaired to other sets. Quote
legofett5 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Hey they did a good job with the Wampa Cave, and putting the snowspeeder aside, there were no ship like functions in it. But they still made it work. I think TLG can come up with a good way to do it. They might do it similar to the way they're doing the new Jabba's palace. Have the shape of the building outside, but the interior the dual. Quote
