Maybe Lego has changed their original plans due to the high volume of talks on line about the lack of a new Padme in recent years.

More likely someone mistranslated the original list or made a mistake because the prelim pics had a outline of Ahsoka as a stand in.

If I remember correctly, Padme was featured more heavily in the Malevolence story arc than Ahsoka was. So from a purely canonical point of view, it makes more sense to feature Padme in the set instead of Ahsoka.

Also as Eeth Koth, Quinlan Vos and Yoda went on a mission together with Wolfpack troopers and Yoda had a chat with Darth Sidious.

just joking, it probably will be Padme, but LEGO has really wierd choises when it comes to minifigs.

For all the people that are waiting this new release in United States, the Toys R Us Manager in Calexico, CA told me that on 24th will be on the shelves.

Yesterday I spent 1 hour to cross the border between Mexico and USA because I went to Toys R Us to get the Series 6 minifigures (just arrive), then when I check the shelves I jump of happiness because I saw the Battle Pack of Endor and the New X-Wing, I took them and I check the other shelves trying to find the Tie Fighter and the planets set, at the end I took the 16 minifigures (I falied just one ) I arrived with the cashier (that was the manager) she scan the X-Wing and she told me "I do not know how this on the shelves" took the battle pack and said the same and she said "sorry but this will be ready for sale on the 23rd, not sorry on 24th will be ready" that was very frustrating LOL

That is a shame. Not only to travel, but to get that "so close but so far" feeling. I caved and ordered from s@h will just have to wait to the first week of February.

Haha! You've got me there. I forgot the important fact that TLG doesn't seem to care which minifigs make sense anymore (ala next summer's Gungan Sub w/ Queen Amidala).

To be more precise, she was taken hostage on board of the Malevolence (s01e04), so it makes sense to place her in this set.

I can't wait to see how they go about doing Pre Viszla's darksaber. I hope it isnt just a black lightsaber blade with a standard hilt.

hey me too, I am hoping for them to it this way, a trans-black 4L blade (never been made before in that color) and a chrome or metallic black hilt.

I find the saber unique that the core is black with a white glow while other sabers have a white core and the color is the glow.

Am I the only one that doesn't believe Jabba's Palace has over 700 pieces? Because it certainly does not look more than 500. With regards towards the Padme-Ahsoka change, I agree with the decision however I would think little kids would like to have a new Ahsoka rather than Padme. However, Padme was featured in the Malevolence arc more than Ahsoka.

I don't see why people think there would be a Season 3 Ashoka and a Season 1 Malevolance anyways. Sure LEGO puts random figs in, but there's usually some connection- like Jedi to a Republic Ship- and I've never seen any 'time warping' on LEGO's part. If Ashoka were to be in the Malevolance it would be Season 1 Ashoka.

Since everybody's talking about LEGO's minifig choices. I'm kind of expecting more than Palpastine/Sidious, Windu, Fisto, Kolar, Tiin, and Anakin/Vader in the Palpatine Arrest set. Just something inside me tells me there will be more like Yoda or Royal Guards?

I think that this is all there will be. Home One only had six Minifigs.

Yeah I agree. The set is called "Palpatine's Arrest", which strongly implies the scene with Mace and the other Jedi, not Yoda.

The thing I want to know is if we get Kolar, will he have Eeth Koth's hairpiece? Kolar doesn't have those things in his hair that keep it in form(dont know how to describe it better)

It is a very important scene, so likely it will have all the Minifigs.

Besides,

We have Tiin's headpiece, so he just needs a new print.

We have Fisto's head, so no need to do anything.

We have brown heads for Windu, so just a new print.

We have Koth/Kolar's headpiece, so just a new print.

JSF Anakin can have a new head print.

Palpatine would be easy.

We will get all the characters from that scene.

I know it's a long shot and most likely won't happen. But I'm hoping for at least one 501st Clone in "Palpatine's Arrest". So far, we've heard nothing about any phase II clones in 2012, neither ROTS or CW-based. So that set is most likely my only hope for at least one next year.

I wish your thinking is true, Pong Krell would make another great CW character. Though I'd prefer if they did a separate piece holding the head and covering the body part - something like Chevy or the new Minotaur, but with the possibility for an extra pair of hands. Also they should be lower than Lord Garmadon's and leaned more outwards so the "shoulders" are closer together.

As for the Palpatines arrest set, I really hope it doesn't turn out another "Hoth base disappointment".

i dont care how many figs we get in palpatines arrest set as long as there non clone wars. don't get me wrong tho i would love to see a non clone wars yoda with face printing but as long as there is at least the 6 major characters to that scene then i don't care. i'm still gonna get this set
