A Clone Wars set, Episode four and six in one box....hey, SW canon is already screwed up as it is why not Lego superpacks !

The Superpack is an excellent sales tactic. Parents buy it thinking "great deal" but kids who get it really only want one, maybe two of the sets included, then beg their moms to buy the other sets that match the theme they like. I'm pretty sure for this reason TLG mismatches the Superpack on purpose.

So with this week's Toy Fair in Nuremberg coming up, is it likely that we'll see pictures of the sets soon? The website lists the dates for the fair as February 1-6, but I'm not sure what kind of info has come from this event in past years.

Well, I don't remember the 2011 Nuremberg very well except for the Hero Factory and Ninjago, but the 2010 Nuremberg fair showed the Summer SW wave.

I saw that too and looked into it- turns out its a custom figure (Arealight or Brickforge I think).

How big do you think the r2-d2 will be? 2127 pieces. As tall as the AT-AT? Can't believe there's been no pics yet considering it's meant to be out next month.

It seems that the astromech only has a 3 stud wide "hat" on top of normal body and legs ... just like the one Embo has in Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship (7930).

Awesome! The Malevolence looks much better to me than on the prelim pics, and the Battle Droid Commander looks like a Battle Droid Commander :)

The astromech looks pretty good to me, especially for just using already existing moulds:

It gets the job done.

I have to say, the Malevolence looks like a horrible blue and grey blob right now and from the angle in that picture. Maybe a straight-on angle will be more flattering, but it seems pretty ugly to me right now, and not nicely shaped either.

Well, the proportions seem wrong, the front part seems too small compared to the back part, the upper front part is too short compared to the lower front part, and the whole upper part is too flat. I wonder how the interior looks.

Yay for Padme! I don't care if it is Clone Wars style I'm just glad she's finally getting some attention instead of being absent for another 12 years. I wonder if she's getting a new hairpiece or will just reuse the one from the Tatooine fig?

Wait...I only see two planet sets, where is the third? The Malevolence looks pretty good, but I'll have to pass, as I would only get it for all of the figs, and all of them are avaliable except Padme. The red starfighter looks nice. I wish a picture of Jabba's Palace could have surfaced.

I was all about getting the Malevolence but not any more. it is way to small. This ship is supposed to be the length of three Venators and looks like it is smaller than the Lego Venator that was released. I am not asking for a huge ship but maybe one that is ISD size. Definitely want the new Republic Striker Fighter. also Sasee Tin's Starfighter looks 100 times better then the prelim pictures but still going to pass. Any idea when we are getting pictures of Pre Viszla's Fighter? I think that the best set for the next half of 2012 will be the Sith Fury Class Interceptor with regards to mini figs and set.

O.K... So what resources should I deprive myself of this year to afford these sets? Food? Water? Shelter? The quality on the sets are blazing higher than EVER... so are the prices though. From this pic and the descriptions from FBTB I literaly almost had a heart attack. From the pic the Mollecolence is more or less of what I hoped it would be. The set isnt something I would buy and I think that Padme isnt the only new fig... I remember the box having new signs next to Ahsoka and some other figs. So yeah. I think Ahsoka is in her secret's revealed outfit. The Geonosian cannon taking up half the picture made me want to punch my computer. The red ship (I think we should just give up on trying to figure out what it's called) looks WAY better than the premilary pic. The droid's head I fear will be too big but all we can do is trust LEGO The CW star fighter looks... well like a CW starfighter. The prelim's show us a new cockpit but I dont really care for this set that much. It's only one of the... is it 7 were up to? Maybe 5 or 6th CW Jedi starfighter. The green droid look's a little... bright... The descriptions on FBTB. Im telling you the two main sets that I will consider ripping out of the market are Jabbas palace and the desert skiff. The descriptions make my brain hurt. Maybe LEGO should divide the auesomeness into smaller portions and feed them to us year by year (I know that's a horrible Idea, sarcasm people)? LoTR sets look like the new SW sets for castle fans but of course let's not talk about THAT here in the SW forums now should we? The figs in both tatooini set's descriptions look like they make up about 4o% of the set. I love the figs but the prelim picture of the actual set looks really cool. Desert skiff... yeah I think we all know why we will pull that money from our wallets... figs.
