This set really looks nice and I can't wait to see all the details on the minifigs! Though it's quite a bit pricy - by the size I think it should be around the 100€ (it looks just a bit bigger than the POTC Whitecap bay to me) but guess all the figures lift the price up more than I thought they will ):

Lego has really been nailing the playsets lately. This new palace is fantastic along with the figures! I'm so glad Jabba has finally been given some articulation around the head/waist. Can't wait to see close ups of the others - especially Leia and Oola.

Only downside so far is the trapdoor. It looks like they're using the canvas material used for sails and capes. I hope I'm wrong though and its just a stickered piece. :sceptic:

Oh yes, nice surprise! I'm not a playset fan at all, but Jabba's palace looks cool! Thought I was gonna buy it just for the figs, but the building itself also looks good. Of course the figs are the USP's: Jabba is done very well, same 4 the guard. Let's hope for more detailed images of Leia as Bousch and Oola soon.

Thanx for posting the images and video.

Here's the partlist that I received from someone. If it wasn't so long ago, I would give the person I received this list from the credit.

That guy must have the patience of a saint

Still he's a hero in my book, for saving us all this time.

What I don't get with the SWTOR sets is that the game is 16+, and the sets are for kids

Just doesn't add up. Mind you, the trooper's torso in the starfighter could be usefull for Commander Cody

Hi guys have been lurking few a good 7/8 months and have only just joined so excuse the new profile.

It seems at the end of the video the guy says that the set is the strongest product for christmas 2012?

"...our main product for Christmas 2012", that's what he said at the beginning, and "our strongest product for Christmas 2012" at the end of the video, correct. I was hoping for a Chewie with printed eyes and mouth, but it seems it's the old one.

Yes, I noticed that too. No idea why.

The next way after August is January 2013. So it is correct, strongest product for christmas 2012.

Wasn't this particular set in the prelims for the next wave of releases? It would be strange to miss out this set when were getting the skiff too, lets just hope the guy was wrong.

Well...I'm not an expert, but I think it's safe to say that the set will we available at some point between July and September. I know that it will come during 2012, and I really don't bother whether it is released one or two months earlier or later.

I think Chewie deserves an update. He's going to look very dated next to all the newer/detail-heavy minifigs. If they won't update him, maybe LEGO will make Chewie in the CW style. A Wookies and Trandoshans set would be cool.

This was a set I was going to get regardless, but now I feel much better about spending the money on it. The updated figures and palace design make me very happy I never put money down for the old one. With a raised baseplate, this would be pretty easily MOC'd into having a rancor pit. This and the Skiff will be my only SW purchases for this year(unless R2 is awesome) so I'm glad they look as good as they do.

Jabba's palace is looking quite nice, it seems as though the minifigs alone will make this one worth picking up. Definitely better than the last rendition, and the new Jabba mold isn't half bad. Unfortunately I'm sure the price tag will keep me away from this one, at least until next year's after-Christmas sales. :sceptic:

Jabba's Palace looks very nice; I'm particularly fond of how it looks from the back- very much like the movie. And the new figures look excellent, but if its over $100 I'll probably have to give it a lot of thought.

Salacious Crumb looks like he has a one piece mold, similar to LEGO animals. I'm hoping for some kind of articulation, so hopefully I'll be surprised

I can't really give final judgement on this set until I see more of Oola, but from what I can see she's lime green, which might be less accurate than Sand Green but looks pretty good. The rest of the palace is pretty meh, it looks more like something from Theed than anything else, what with the domed roof and all. Then again, it might be accurate, I never really paid attention to the OT

Could Oola be olive green?

Hopefully she is as, that's a bit closer to the actual color of the character than Lime. Sand Green would be best, but I think that that would take away from TLG's usually bright colorscheme for minifigs.

I think that they may be replacing sand green with olive green. Sand green was the last remaining sand color.

How many brightly-colored characters (aside from Clones, stormies, etc) are there in SW? Not many.
