Mr Man Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 The Mando fighter really disappointed me, and the Darksabre will be a black bar in a lightsabre hilt by the looks of it . Still the Fury and its figs (with new moulds and prints hopefully) are so good . Quote
JackJonespaw Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 These are very nice! I love the new Lobot! Much better than the old one! I was hoping we'd get a new Obi-Wan in the Mandalorian ship, though. Quote
MandaloretheLesser Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I don't why everyone does not like all of the sets I love all of them and will be getting all but the SWOTR sets because I don't like EU sets that much but don't get me wrong they are pretty sweet designs and look great and I am sure they would be great but they are just not my cup of tea and I am trying to limit my collection to just CW and OT sets and some PT. Now I really hope that TLG redo a Cloud City and a Sail Barge. Oh and I like the looks of the Mado fighter but I think the cockpit needs to be different and I have a feeling that the Obi-Wan Kenobi won’t be season 3 design and if Duchess Satine was included it would make the set but i guess Pre Vizsla is enough but still. Ok that’s my worth for now. P.S. The new CW Padme looks great: D and the Leia disguised as Boushh is a great fig to have and the new Jabba looks a bit CW but I am not complaining and the redesigned Luke in the skiff is mighty fine same with <3 Boba <3 . Ok now i am done. :P -MandaloretheLesser Quote

Why? It was the same Obi model as the rest of the early series (the armoured version), a new Obi would push the price up unnecessarily. Quote
KimT Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I saved all the pics to my Flickr. See them here. You sure you want to host prelims/confidential pics? You are violating a few copyright laws in doing so. Quote
J4ke Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 ^Buzzkill. It's gonna cost me a fortune, but I want that Fury-class so much. I also find it interesting that the Sith Troopers look really awesome using the castle helmets, V-Wing pilot head and Vader torsos. Keep them like that, lego! Quote

kermit Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Darth Malgus seem to be wearing a castle style chest armor, but the sith trooper helmets are just incredible. Quote

While we wont have deeplinked pics here, uploading them to your flickr is the same as posting them. You just post them on a different site. Same violation. The castle style armor is liable to change or even have unique printing. Quote

Fives Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I found it strange that we got the prelims for these sets so late. The NY toy fair is tomorrow, so we will be seeing close-up, in-depth views of all the sets. Also, the helmets the Sith troopers are wearing in he prelims have been around for quite a while, since 2003, I believe. They will (hopefully) be replaced with a complete face covering helmet, and new torsos as well. And, my last comment on the prelims: Pre Viszla's ship looks pretty spot on. They have done a very good job o capturing he abnormal shape and placement of the cockpit, along with getting the right details. As for the fig selection, ANOTHER CW Obi-Wan! Hopefully he will have a different torso and the new Kenobi hair from the Mustafar set. Quote

I've seen prelims posted on this site since like forever. I curious to know why this is a problem all of a sudden. Edited February 11, 2012 by simonjedi Quote
LEGOman273 Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I've seen prelims posted on this site since like forever. I curious to know why this is a problem all of a sudden. TLG has had a problem with it for years. Someone always posts the pics anyway. By the way, I still have the pics saved to my phone. If someone wants me to post them again so that they can save them for their own use, please let me know. Note: I will delete the pics likely today or tomorrow, so let me know soon. Quote

It's not a problem "all of a sudden". We wont allow deeplinks, but links are accepted. All I say is that if you choose to host prelims or confidential pics in your flickr or brickshelf it's illegal. I was merely giving out a warning that your account such places could get suspended or even deleted if you share illegal stuff. Simple as that. Quote
TheBrickDaddy Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Dang, I just missed the pictures! Would someone mind telling me what the minifigs for Pre Vizsla's star fighter are, since I didn't get to see them? Thank you! Quote

Would someone mind telling me what the minifigs for Pre Vizsla's star fighter are, since I didn't get to see them? Thank you! Pre Vizsla himself (Mandilorian legs and torso, with what appears to be Boba Fetts helmet), a Mandilorian, and Obi Wan Kenobi. Quote
The Legonater Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I don't know... I don't really see any need to buy Pre Visla's fighter. I have most of the figs, and as nice as the ship is, I was never a big fan of that arc, for many reasons. Quote
Jefo412 Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Here is a picture of 9525 Pre Vizsla’s Mandalorian Fighter http://www.hothbricks.com/2012/02/nouveaux-visuels-des-nouveautes-star-wars-2012/ Quote
legomilk Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 (edited) Price from the Gungan Sub €.69,99 And the 9516 Jabba's Palace €.139,99 Edited February 11, 2012 by legomilk Quote
Vindicare Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Pre Vizsla himself (Mandilorian legs and torso, with what appears to be Boba Fetts helmet), a Mandilorian, and Obi Wan Kenobi. People need to realize that those catalog pictures are not final. Obviously Vizsla isn't going to have Fetts helmet(color wise). Of course the Sith troopers aren't going to have Castle armor. So don't get your hopes up yet over the figs. Wait til this weekend is over and we see Toy Fair pictures. Quote
Orange Leader Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I'm happy that the Skiff is going to be 29,-, I was afraid it's going to cost 34,- or 39,-. Jabba's Palace might be expensive, but the many fantastic mini figures aside, it's a very well put together play set and can be used for Castle MOCs. Quote
K-Nut Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 The pics I just saw aren't that best of quality, but from what I see, The two Old Republic sets are just . The Mandalorian fighter looks nice, so I'll pick that up. The Starfighter is different enough for my liking's. Malevolence still looks awesome to me. Bespin will be the only Planet I pick up just because of Lobot. Now I can't wait for Summer! Quote
Masked Builder Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Price from the Gungan Sub €.69,99 And the 9516 Jabba's Palace €.139,99 I'm not happy at all with the prices of either of the sets, the Skiff is okay, but the palace and the sub are just awful. Quote
Piranha Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I seemed to have missed the pictures. Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I seemed to have missed the pictures. I missed out too but I'm sure we'll have plenty of pictures to look at really soon. Like the LotR sets, I'm not going to start getting too critical until I see the official and final photos of the new SW sets from LEGO. Quote
