Snowspeeder Pilot Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The orange visor makes all the difference. Yes, you are right! Sad that the Zev Senesca face is the same as Dutch Vander and this new pilot. Brickdoctor: In Battle of Hoth there are too many pilot with the same helmet. Also, Hobbie has the same helmet as Ducth Vander, an unknown pilot used Gold Leader helmet and another unknown pilot used Jek Porkins helmet, check the picture. Quote
Fives Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Could anyone try to find a pic of the Sith trooper that those figs are based on. I can't find it anywhere, but I really want to see the reference material before I judge the figs too much. Quote

As Fallen said, this is the standard-issue pilot's helmet. I was just saying that the most well-known of them is the Dack, and he's who most people think of when they see the helmet with the blue crests. Quote

Dutch Vander is Gold Leader. I'd like to know how that fellow in the back ended up with Tiree's helmet, though. The Expanded Universe thrives! Quote

legoboy12345678/David Hall Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) I see we have some people sharing links about BrickShow.com's photos but nothing here posted, lets changed that! The only really new thing until tomorrow worth showing from the pictures on there site is the new Sith Troopers, which I must say are really awesome! --David Very Nice LEGO, your figures keep on improving, heres the actually character in the game! Ceroknight Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The Sithtrooper helmets look a bit awkward, but on side, Malgus? looks quite good. Hope we get more pictures soon! Quote
CF Mitch Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Wow. Those sith troopers look....advanced. I like it Malgus seems to look really cool as well, judging by the piece of armor you can see. About Jace Malcolm, he seems to be very preliminary as well. His head is the one from the latest Boba Fett, I think. The hairpiece might be new, but it seems kinda familiar to me. And it might be that he does have a helmet (as well) in the final version. Which would be very cool. Regards, Mitch Quote
Mr Man Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The Sith Troopers helmets stick out too much, but otherwise look OK. I won't comment on Jabba's Palace until I've seen the finalised figs, but the Republic Fighter looks like a bad MOC . Quote
Oddibossity Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 America, hurry up and get to today! I've already been out for a swim, had lunch with friends, and then gone out to see TPM in 3D! Eager for what the new day will bring, am I. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 The Sith Troopers helmets stick out too much, but the Republic Fighter looks like a bad MOC . I share the same sentiments on both accounts. I hope that isn't the final design and they will still make the grey part of the Sith Trooper helmet flatter like in the reference material. I'm still not sold on the Republic Starfighter, if not only for the figs this will be an easy pass for me, but the Satele Shan, Jace Malcolm, and even the droid are very tempting to get... Quote
legolandia Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I just can't wait for the pictures to come out. Those sith troopers are looking fabulous. Definitely demonstrates that a lot of amount of detail is not a bad thing at all. Quote
Bobskink Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Those Sith Troopers look awfull. I didn't even know Sith Troopers existed, were do they come from? Another farfetched story to make money? Quote

The recent MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. Well, yeah. I'll wait to see better pics of the troopers before I make a comment. Quote
legolandia Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Another farfetched story to make money? No point blaming Lego just because you can't be bothered to do some research (or even read a few pages back in this thread) Quote
K-Nut Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Hmm, well compared to those pics, the helmet does seem to stick out a bit much, but that can be easily fixed when you put, say, Savage Opress armor on them. I probably won't alter them, but still. Quote

Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Thanks for sharing that link. Jabba's Palace looking better and better everytime I see it. I feel that the minifigs in that set are going to be what sells that set. They're all top notch. Pre Vizsla's fighter looks pretty good based on what I've seen so far. I was expecting/thinking it would look better if the white bricks were light bley. I was kind of hoping to see one of the upcoming UCS sets but oh well. There's enough being revealed here at toy fair to keep me happy. Quote
LEGOman273 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 It looks like Jace Malcom has Draco Malfoy's hair. Can anyone see Satele Shan's lightsaber better, it (the hilt) looks longer than usual. Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Maybe it's the angle in the pic you're looking at. The hilt looks the same to me. Quote
