General Magma Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Thanks for the links. They all look great, but the best figure of the SW ones has to be Darth Malgus for me! TLC did a geat job on him. Not sure about the shape of the front of the Sith Trooper helmets, though. ~ General Magma Quote
LEGOman273 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Maybe it's the angle in the pic you're looking at. The hilt looks the same to me. It is. Malcom DOES have Malfoy's hair. Quote
Brickadeer Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 More pics here http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/g6293-lego.html Excellent, thanks! So we'll get a new Commander Droid, that's all I wanted to know :) The "Pauldron" of Maglus makes me hope for a new Darth Vader and new ARC Pauldrons as well :) Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) @ General Magma - The Darth Malgus minifig looks really good to me. The Sith Troopers look a bit awkward. I think it's the way the lower portion of the helmet sticks out just a little too much. On a separate note, I think it's cool that we're getting another Padme minifig and she's wearing her Adventure gear. Not too thrilled with her CW head. *edit* - to quote my daughter "she's ugly". Nom Carver Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 it's like if the Sith trooper helmet was made for a dog Quote
sealslip3 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 More pics here http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/g6293-lego.html Awesome pics! I love Lobot and the new AT-ST Pilot. Jedi Luke's torso seems a bit odd to me, not sure why though. Jabba's Palace still looks excellent, though I'm still waiting to see the price. And speaking of prices, $70 for the Gungan Sub? I was expecting $60, but then again I was expecting $60 for the Sith Infiltrator too. I'll have to decide whether or not to buy the set or just bricklink the minifigures. I know I'm a glutton for punishment, but hopefully we'll get confirmed prices for the other sets today too. Quote

The Fury Class Interceptor has 741-pcs at $89.99. Jabba's Palace has 717-pcs at $??.?? I'm expecting a higher price since we're getting a lot of new minifigs. Also noticed that the 2012 Advent Calendar will retail for $49.99. Quote
Mr Man Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The gamorrean guards look awful, far to action figureish for me . Quote
CaptainCRO Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Awesome!! I will get Jabba's palace and desert skiff. Padme looks really ugly. No Palpatine's arrest p.s. What's wrong with the guy who designed that Iron man? Quote
sealslip3 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Also noticed that the 2012 Advent Calendar will retail for $49.99. I was really surprised by that too, considering how poorly last year's sold at $39.99 Quote
Mr Man Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 No Palpatine's arrest There's still a chance for it, there's no B-Wing or R2 there either. Quote
ablake90 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Whos bright idea was it to hide the new boba away inside the sarlacc!? His pauldron looks to be a different colour perhaps more accurte to ROTJ? Quote
simonjedi Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 It looks like Jace Malcom has Draco Malfoy's hair. Can anyone see Satele Shan's lightsaber better, it (the hilt) looks longer than usual. http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/lego/p41416-lego-star-wars.html Nope. Just a single one. I'm supervised that Lego hasn't released a double bladed hilt considering how much more useful it is compared with some molds. Quote
Brickity Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Cw Count Dooku and Padme? What a waste But Scrub and Oola!! Edited February 12, 2012 by Otherworld Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The missing minifig in Jabba's palace seems to be Ree-Yees (as can be seen on pics of the preliminary box in the background)... I wonder why they decided to ditch him Maybe they'll release him in another set, like they did with the Tactical Droid two years ago Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I am very excited for Jabba's Palace, Gungan Sub (although NOT happy about that pricetag ), and the Desert Skiff. I am hoping Jabba set isn't too expensive, but I suppose that's a ridiculous thought. Also, is Leia coming in Jabba set? I thought she was, but I have not seen her in any pics. I am kinda hoping for a half-naked Leia fig. Quote
K-Nut Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Seeing a close up on the figs in the Republic Starfighter, I have to say I'm impressed. I think this may be the best year for Star Wars for me. Quote

GuntherThePenguin Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 It's Leia as Boushh, not slave Leia I just hope they don't reuse that Tamina face. Aww, dang it! Well, I suppose any Leia is better than no Leia. Thanks! Quote
Algernon Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I think the Fury looks awesome, and it's probably the only set I'll be getting from this wave. I don't even know what movie it's from, I don't recognize it. Quote
legolandia Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The Malevolence most certainly is looking  . Especially with the amount of detail that the stickers/printed areas add to it. I am definitely buying all the summer wave sets this time (with the possible exception of the Gungan sub). Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Just to clear it up because people seem to keep asking it. The Fury Class Interceptor and The Republic Striker Starfighter are from the Star Wars The Old Republic Game, set way before the PT. Quote
Nobrux Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 After seeing more closely the image of Boba with Sarlaac, it seems to me that his arms aren't printed afterall. Quote
legoboy12345678/David Hall Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Woah, This is something I have to share with you guys asap, I was never even aware that LEGO was making this set! Looks great, just wished it was tiled! --David http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/data/6293/NYT_4132_RESIZED.jpg Edited February 13, 2012 by KielDaMan Quote
