I'm expecting a Comic-Con reveal. And the prototype wall, I doubt any of those will be released, they are from the past. I'm hoping for completely redone AOTC sets for 2013. default_drool.gif

I'm hoping for more than redos. Most of the stuff worth redoing was in the first Clone Wars wave.

I don't like to minimod, but as Brickadeer just said...

I think if a mod were around he'd say that this may be an interesting idea, but that it has nothing to do with the topic; that there is already an appropriate thread for this question, and that it would be nice if you could use the appropriate thread to discuss these issues instead of going OT here in this thread :classic:

Back on topic, while I'm not a huge fan of CW and don't know much about it beyond what's presented in the episodes, I have to say that Satine doesn't seem that important. Recurring supporting protagonist character in a couple arcs appearing only in CW doesn't really make a character important enough to be a minifig. Having said that, I'm sure there's some more obscure CW character that's been made into a minifig that I can't remember off the top of my head right now, but I can't really argue with TLG if they don't make her into a minifig.

Embo, Sugi, Nahdar Vebb who was alive for one episode… there have been a lot of Clone Wars figures that have only appeared in one or two episodes, or only have a bit part even if they appear more often. Dutchess Satine is a fairly important character in the Death Watch arc, a semi love interest for Obi-Wan, a nicely dressed and cool-looking character (which is kind of important for characters to be made into minifigures), and is another human woman, of which we don't have many. She would make a lot of sense for inclusion in a Death Watch sense, even Pre Visla's starfighter. There have been plenty of CW sets with characters and vehicles that don't really go together.

Speeder chase? Obi-Wan's JSF? Slave I?

Of all the EP II possibilities, this is the one I don't want to see. I'm tired of JSFs taking up slots where other sets can be made each year. I know some may want a non-CW Obi JSF, but it's all the same to me. Pretty much the same thing with Slave I. Pass.

It seems the Darth Maul polybag has started to show up in good numbers on Bricklink at a semi reasonable price. They are all gone now but I am sure more will come along soon. The sellers seem to be located in the far east asia.

Forgive me, but how many of those did you snag? Should we be expecting a Sith army soon enough?

Is Lego slowly shifting away from the Clone Wars line? Its still one of my favorite lines of the SW theme, despite the high price. For the summer 2012 line, there is only the Malevolence which I don't plan to get. I really hope Lego does a lot of AOTC sets in 2013 though.

Tiin's JSF is TCW, too.

Actually I missed them, so I will be on the lookout for them too. I am only after one as I have no interest in a army of Darth Maul's.

Lego is pretty slow on making sets to coincide with the series. I mean we got the ARC troopers that appeared in the episode back in fall 2010. Even Lego is now making the Malevolence.

The first hint at the new Phase 2 clones was in the swamp speeder set a year or two ago. That clone looked pretty cool, but I think Lego was just teasing us.

I'm not sure, but wasn't the clone in the 2010 set identical to the original phase 2 clones other than the dotted mouth pattern?

I think Lego will make a completely new mold for the helmets of the Clone Wars phase 2 clones, just as they did with the phase 1's. For anyone collecting Clone Wars figures that is tremendous news though, as we are going to see so many new clones made, I'm extremely impressed with the variety of clones already made over the last few years.

To make this post on topic though, I'm happy Lego is finally taking non-CW minifigures seriously, this summer is exciting with the Skiff, Jabba's Palace, TOR sets, Gungan Sub and (hopefully) Palpatine's arrest. We are seeing an unprecedented amount of new characters, something I've been envious of in the CW sets for the last few years.

Well at least you're slightly trying.

This isn't a "dream", "believe", "want", "think" or "suspect" topic. It's not. Really. Stuff like that belongs here. People come to this topic expecting at least a 20% chance of posts being a fact. If I have clean up this topic again this week I'll close it.

Thank you for that. The last three pages (before the several clean-ups) were starting to look like wishing wells. :classic:

Agreed. It's good to see more of the newer molds and things making the move to the OT stuff. It's not helping my wallet, I tell you that! I just hope that they don't have such unique parts that I can't convert them to yellow skin.

Grogall posted LOTR hi-res pics earlier...SW must be close

Thebrickshow just posted a pre release review of jabbas palace. I don't know if this is already know but Han does have a blind face as well which is good news.
