Dr. Steve Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 What vehicle/figure would they release with that set? Only thing i can think of is the Millennium Falcon since it was travelling there You could make it with "The Tantive IV". You do see it in Episode III. Quote

Don't really buy the Star Wars sets any more but that is a pretty cool setup The Tantive IV / rebel blockade runner and maybe a Bail Organa fig? Edited May 2, 2012 by Faefrost Quote

TLG put a TIE Interceptor with the first Death Star so it's not like they care about planet/ship accuracy. Quote
jonwil Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Anyone know what the trans-orange part at the rear of the Gungan Sub is? Quote
gotoAndLego Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 (edited) The one thing that surprises me is that despite LEGO skimping on figs in other themes like City and despite LEGO continuing to tell everyone just how expensive minifigs are (and how expensive new minifigs are), they still put liberal amounts of minifigs (and new ones at that) in Star Wars sets. Why can Star Wars get away with so many minifigs (and so many new ones) when City gets shafted with e.g. 2 figs in a set that really should have 3 or 3 in a set that should have 4 or whatever? <Yoda> To cover costs, a premium, Lego can charge. Compare, the price per piece you must, and answers you will find. </Yoda> Edited May 2, 2012 by gotoAndLego Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Anyone know what the trans-orange part at the rear of the Gungan Sub is? Judging by the dimples on the side, I'd say it's this one. Quote
Mr Man Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 You could make it with "The Tantive IV". You do see it in Episode III. No it's the Sundered Heart in ROTS, the Tan IV is in TCW and ANH. Quote
Vindicare Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Wow... so many nice figures! Is that a new face for Han in the Palace? He looks kind of paralysed. The Malevolence is also smaller than I first thought (yay!). The planet sets are nice, but all of the planets look a bit off. The marbling is okay on Bespin, but looks really weird on Yavin IV. The halves don't even fit together that well... As for the Jedi Starfighter, I don't mind more. I have three at the moment, and I might be the only person that'd be happy if Anakin's was rereleased. I'd be happy to, I missed both his and Ahsokas. And the Han in Jabbas Palace does look like he is blinded from the carbonate freezing. Quote
Big Cam Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Wow, all of the minifigures look great but the sets all seem lacking. Well, it looks like I'll have money for some of the other great new themes, as I think I'll just be buying minifigures from Star Wars. Though, the skiff and the fighter look pretty good. I tend to agree, the only set that really excites me is Jabba's. Quote
legobeno Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Wow! These upcoming SW sets look very tempting! I wonder how much they'll cost... Quote

That Star Wars tax has definitely not let up... still, I might try to budget for the sith interceptor, even if this means Jabba's Palace is a no go. At least the Skiff is somewhat affordable. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 That Star Wars tax has definitely not let up... That's because of the taxation of trade routes... Sorry. Quote

Omega X Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I'm not really a Star Wars collector, but I must admit that TLG has done a good job in this wave. I am intending to...review the Malevolence. Omega X Quote
legobeno Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Despite the price, I like these upcoming sets. When will we get a Minifigure Series that only offers Star Wars characters? ... I can dream, right? Quote
