Good, I'm not alone. It's a failry boring set all around. The minifigures are all rather boring. :hmpf_bad:

It would be if you are not a clone wars fan. People have been waiting for another non clone wars mace for 5 years!

anyway, the price is  , but the set is :wub_drool: . I love the capes included, not for the selection, but for the feel. most versions of these figs don't have capes and it makes them look battle ready. The inclusion of capes make it look as if it was going to be a peaceful arrest, but broke out into a battle.

I'm also glad that they have finally started the trend of buildings once again.

To respond again..

That is a great new Anakin figure. I loved the JSF version, but this one with another new face will make me want the set even more. So that means, I will need all 6 figures as I don't have any of the previous version (excluding JSF Anakin). And the set itself has some nice play features and bricks to use.

I still agree the price is horrendous, but the set itself and the figures are quite awesome in my book.

And Jedi robes probably can only look so different after a while, so to rehash existing robes might be silly. And for people like me who don't own any of the Clone Wars variants (nor do I want to), the new/same torsos and new non-CW faces are very welcomed.

Plus different arm and hand color on Tiin, a new torso on Palpatine, an entirely new Agen Kolar figure… why so grumbly? The CW-style torsos aren't very different from the other ones these days, so there's no point to redo something like Mace's torso which is pretty much the same.

No sorry it was more a grumble about how they justify a exclusive, a few tiny changes, I don't mind the CW figs, not as much as 'some' people here. Oh I also made the comment after I saw the first pic, and before seeing the reviews.

Looks like a great set - sod the price, it's not as if we're talking about something that's genuinely expensive!

Never understood why people would buy or avoid a set because of clone wars faces. It's rather a nerdy thing to get so tetchy about. Guys please remember extreme opinions about Lego don't come across as cool!

In that case, consider the vast majority of us uncool in one way or another...

Because not all of us have money growing out of our arses like you clearly do. And for what you are getting, yes it IS genuinely expensive for part of a hobby for getting something so little.

Being arrogant about other peoples opinions doesn't come across as cool either.

I'm quite impressed by this, although the price is a bit nuts :look: I don't normally buy PT but I'll probably get this when it's on sale. Some strategically positioned LEDS will really add to it

Is the main window a single piece? I just hope that it's not one of those (awful) heavy plastic 'curtains' that I've seen in one of my nephew's POTC sets. It's soo nice to see non-cw figures.

Speaking of the capes, I was curious about something. The Collectible Graduate figure (this guy http://www.eurobricks.com/staff/whitefang/8805review/33.jpg ) came with a robe piece that I had wondered if it was ever going to be used for any SW minifigures. If it was ever proposed for this set I can understand why the desingers would have still gone with the capes. The capes would give more versatility as I imagine including the robe piece instead of the cape would have meant brown arms and torsos with the undertorso print i.e. they would look odd without the robe while they look fine without the cape. But I did not know if that was anything any of you felt Lego should include in any further sets.

If anything, I would love to see that piece be used as Han's Endor trenchcoat.

There are first pictures of Sidasa's review of 9526 now at imperiumdersteine.

Apparently, it is a new Anakin :classic:

The set looks pretty good, it has the all characters you would expect and the model is fairly decent. It is nice to get some new non CW figs and I really like that new Anakin fig.

That may be true, but we've been waiting for a Padme for 10+ years! (Though this one is crap.)

I think Star Wars has always been about the ships, but that's me.

You do realize that the gold Lightsabre hilt is found in the summer Ninjago sets?

Both summer Ninjago and Palpatine's Arrest have barely been released.

Nope, hadn't noticed. I'm not a big fan of Ninjago. :classic: Even though neither has been released, some guy is selling the gold hilt already on Bricklink.

Although I'll admit, now that I think about it, this really calls for a chrome gold hilt. :sceptic:

They actually have been released...I've got the gold hilt. Got it with NRG Jay! (Best official fig ever.)

Oh right, and Palpy's arrest has already been released. D'oh.

Still, I can't wait to see it with its red blade on the new Palpy fig. :sweet:

And for those of you who insist Kit Fisto is not new, you are wrong in a sense. This is his first set appearance where he has a cape, though all other pieces are from his previous variant. It depends on what you count as a "new" minifigure.

True but i would like to see a lego star wars the video game styled kit fisto figure because when ever i get a rubber head the paint scratches off

Palpatine is beautiful.

The CW Palpy is creepy... very creepy.... creepy.

Overall I'm not impressed. The minifigures are nice, and I'm very glad to see Chancellor Palpatine and Mace Windu in non-CW versions, but I doubt I'll be spending $90 on this set.

Smashing Bricks have posted some more pictures about this set. Including the functions(I'm surprised at the number of features) and the minifigures included. The link is here

About my opinions about this set, I'm pleased, disappointed and surprised. I'm surprised, as I mentioned above, the amount of features that come with this set(No flick-fire missiles, Hooray! )I'm pleased to see the amount of minifigures included in this set. The size of the set is not surprising, but the minifigures that come with this set(How many are there? Let me see...Six! No?) Six minifigures are the amount of minifigures that come in large sized sets, like the Ultra-Sonic Raider. I know that I might be wrong, but it doesn't seem like a large-sized set too me...I'm disappointed at the set itself. I'm sure most of you who read my next sentences might think that I'm barking mad, but it is just my 'first impression' of the set. I think that the set is a little bit too...open. What do I mean? I think expected the set to be more 'enclosed', giving it a feel that the battle took place in the Jedi head-quarters (Right?). However the set , besides the 'shattering glass' and the door, has nothing else to give it a 'office' feel. In other words, I'm disappointed at the sad lack of walls, get it now?

P.S. I'm still going to buy this set though...

Hmm...I've just noticed that there is a new Star Wars game called "Battle Orders" there are a lot of planets there. Is it possible that the planets there might be future sets under "Build-able Galaxy"?
