brickbuilder Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I remember that. Perhaps my post wasn't worded as well as it could have been. I really don't see any reason for TLG to release an obscure Sith set when their's nothing significant surrounding the film right now, so I assume the fighter must appear in CW. I guess if they decide that was his first Eta-2 and it became the backup after he got the yellow one, that could make sense. But I still think they should just stick with the yellow. Ummm... Imperial V-wing anyone? AT-AP? And I really doubt this is a CW set, as it comes with a Mustafar platform and droid, and Nute Gunray, which fits perfectly with the ROTS scene. And I'm sure if there are Eta-2s in the CW, Anikan will have his yellow one. Quote
The Legonater Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Actually, Anakin piloted a green Eta-2 to Mustafar after his yellow one was destroyed. It has red accents and shows up in various behind-the-scenes clips on the Revenge of the Sith DVD. That and there are almost no good pictures of it on the Net. EDIT: Around 5:10 in this clip. But didn't he say everything expect one or two TPM sets where remakes? Quote

brickbuilder Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 But didn't he say everything expect one or two TPM sets where remakes? He said all of the six OT sets were. There is a couple TPM sets, a CW set, and the ROTS set that may or may not be remakes. Quote
The Legonater Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 He said all of the six OT sets were. There is a couple TPM sets, a CW set, and the ROTS set that may or may not be remakes. Ah. Still, I find it strange to make a set out of a ship no one remembers. I don't even recall it being green. Quote
mutley777 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Please Mirandir I'm not trying to say you're information is not true but give us a source or pictures or something I just want to asure the production of these sets I'm also suprised that lego would make a jedi interceptor when it will most likely be in the CW soon it would be more likly to make a wookie or boga and wheel bike set He's already said he doesn't want to because he told his source he wouldn't do so. I sure he has been here long enough to realise that making up false rumors and lying about new sets, results in a instant ban. So on that premise everything must be true. Quote

April Fools must be terrible for users then But still, it is weird to be so secretive and then release all the information. Quote
commanderneyo Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Yes, you are quite correct. The EP3 set is 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. Besides a dark green Jedi Interceptor it includes: a brickbuildt Mustafar droid, a small platform, Anakin Skywalker with new "evil eyes" alt. face, Obi Wan Kenobi, R2-D2, a new Nute Gunray and a Security Battle Droid Sounds tempting this one, if it's true of course! I love the Jedi Fighters, regardless of Delta or ETA, so this is a must for me. I'm assuming Obi-Wan like Anakin is a re-design? And Gunray must be as the only other Gunray is animated. Mustafar Droids sounds good, and another Security Battle Droid is always welcome. Thanks for this info (if it turns out to be true) Quote

zlego Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) I'm looking foward too the x-wing(its been 6 years since the last the last one) and the tie fighter(7 years since the last one of that) but I'm sorry i just can't believe the other sets, they just sound so unreal and farfrom the nomarl wave of sets I'm fine with people keeping sources unknown but why didn't they inform you about all the sets or give you some really unclear pictures just to confirm everything, please I just want to be realistic Edited August 4, 2011 by zlego Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Hm... I was against the idea of another Jedi Starfighter at first, but this does sound very appealing. I hope they give Anakin a new hair piece. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I hope they give Anakin a new hair piece. I think Dastan's would work just fine; no need for a new mold. Though if they make a new, better mold, I won't be complaining. Quote

That set sounds great, redesigned EP3 Anakin and Obi. I was a bit surprised that is was a Dark Green JSF. Still I love Dark Green and new improvements I always thought it was the yellow one then I remembered it was destroyed when the Invisible Hand went down. I do have the original yellow one, but am missing the Obi's Dark Red and Dark Blue one, oh well this one will work for me. The first JSF was $20, this one being $40 is for the figs and probably a small Mustafar platform or so. (oh plus SW License extra cost) Quote
Raider Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 2012 is shaping up to be a very good year for lego star wars Quote
CMP Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Counting up how many times somebody's said they have an inside source from LEGO and have a link to all the sets, I find these unlikely. Unless a reliable site can back this up, I don't see this happening. But that's just the skeptic in me. If it is true, then it is a good selection of figs for each set. A new TIE and an X-Wing at the same time. A smart move. Quote
lego wonkyeye Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 What are the possibilitys for the set with gree? Quote
Ceroknight Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 The green ETA sounds lovely can't wait! Plus all those minifigures that is said to be included! Quote

Be happy with what information you are getting, and play the game. Mirandir is enjoying teasing everyone with little bits at a time, and most of us are enjoying having a small piece of the puzzle revealed at a time. You don't get a fully constructed Lego set straight out of the box, you put it together one piece at a time. It's part of the fun. Lego fans should be the best at receiving info this way P.S. Maybe it's just because I was the kind of kid who never opened all his presents on Christmas morning, but I rather enjoy this. It gives us a lot more to discuss, too, about the sets we haven't heard about yet but are supposed to exist. Besides, it's not like him telling us everything would make it any more likely that they were true, and no matter how quickly you get your rumors, you still have to wait until late December to January to get the sets anyways. If LEGO ever releases a Star Wars set with Tradorshians, Nerordians, and Hakoo, let me know, because I don't know what any of those three things are. @lego wonkyeye: Gree was on Kashyyyk during the events of Sith, so I'm guessing something from there. The thing is that everything that's likely is either not old enough to merit a remake (Juggernaut, NR-N99, PAC) or relatively unknown (AT-AP, HMP, Wookiee ornithopter). Maybe we'll get a hut with Yoda and Gree, on a tree with a flick-fire missile in it. Then again, we haven't had a Wookiee catamaran since 2005 (and if memory serves me right, it wasn't very good either). Seems like a possibility... Edited August 5, 2011 by fallenangel309 Quote

I belive that's some sort of ancient Japenese poem. Personally, I'd enjoy the spoon feeding of information more if I was 100% certain it was all true. Every tidbit leaves me more and more confused as to whether or not it's all true. It's almost irratating. Quote

zlego Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Yes you are all right I should be alittle more fun and enjoy the rumors BUT the spelling post makes me feel and others feel like you're picking on something that we try hard to prevent, I'm sorry if I don't spell ever word right but it is not bad if you spell a couple words wrong So, I really like the new x-wing and tie fighter, I also like the idea of an episode 3 set but I was really hoping for a new wookie or boga set I missed both of them thelast time but I do like the sound of the new jedi interceptor set, will R2-D2 be able to fit fully in the interceptor like he dose in the new jedi starfighters? Hello, no worries your grammar is fine for me, not knowing you country of native language it is actually quite good. about the rumors, they aren't completely ridiculous based off some logical thinking, BPs being based on Factions as we see in other themes, something for the TIE to have a space battle with (X-Wing). For the EP3 set TLG also made the Theta Shuttle, so I can see the logic of releasing the JSF set. I don't know about R2 fitting, the wing(s) would have to be pretty thick. But I am liking it more and more every minute. Edited August 5, 2011 by Macoco Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) For the Gree set an ATAP is unlikey as it is a minor thing that we got not that long ago (I don't want one as I got one for £20). I think maybe wookie tree house Edited August 5, 2011 by Jedi master Brick Quote
