lightningtiger Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 D'oh! The Y-wings in the film didn't have droids. There's a socket, but no droid. Can't believe I forgot about that. But canon has an astromech in a Y-wing, but I wished actually we got a two seater instead of a single seat Y-wing. Quote
halomaster96 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I don't know if anyone else noticed this but I think Bariss has a small cape like the jawas from the old sandcrawler. Quote
BrickMagnetReviews Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 When are we gonna get some pics of the UCS sets? Quote
GRogall Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 D'oh! The Y-wings in the film didn't have droids. There's a socket, but no droid. Can't believe I forgot about that. What are you blabbering about? In some of the scene on Yavin R5 Astromech droids are clearly visible! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 What are you blabbering about? In some of the scene on Yavin R5 Astromech droids are clearly visible! [snip] Knowing Fallenangel, I'd guess that the life-size Y-wing props had Astromechs in them, and the studio models didn't. Quote
Piranha Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Woot? I do agree that Anakin looks like he needs more sleep. Than and he looks like TeenWolf oh I meant a disappointment, auto correct Pfft. That's silly. Sith don't sleep. Take it from Darth Maul, they barely even blink. I actually like his new Sith eyed double head. His hair's probably going to cover up the majority, at least, if not all of the other side. Lego is a rather inconsistent company The ARC gets printed legs but the ARF doesn't?! Desert Stormies get all manner of printings but Endor one's don't?! C'mon Lego - printed Stormies available in a cheap battle pack would solve all our army building needs! In general imagine I'll get every set - best Jan wave in years...but, summer will need some bigger hitters or it won't be a vintage year I was hoping the sandtroopers leg prints would be generic but they have dirt, guess all my stormtroopers are gnona be dirty thanks grogall for the new Y-wing, love the figs included and the model is pretty good. sok117 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I don't know if anyone else noticed this but I think Bariss has a small cape like the jawas from the old sandcrawler. Good catch! I didn't notice that. I guess that makes it a bit less useful for most minifigs, but might be a plus for a few! Quote
hjmediastudios Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I think I'm going to get nothing but 12 Endor BPs when they come out, then maybe pick up some TIES later in the year... Does anyone know how much the BP's will cost? Is it $11.99 again? $13 I can live with, but 15 is too steep... Quote
Ceroknight Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Am I the only who noticed the new stormtrooper Torso print for the Endor Battlepack? Or am I just crazy? Quote
StoutFiles Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Knowing Fallenangel, I'd guess that the life-size Y-wing props had Astromechs in them, and the studio models didn't. It's a popular debated subject. The Y-wings in the Death Star trench are missing their droids but they should be there, there's an empty space for them. An unconfirmed mistake by Lucasfilm. There are three different droids seen in the ship at the hanger, one being an all gray R2 unit. The actor who played Vander is quoted as saying the all-gray R2 unit was his. So, TLG picked the wrong droid most likely. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I don't know if anyone else noticed this but I think Bariss has a small cape like the jawas from the old sandcrawler. You're right! That's somewhat of a shame, but it is a bit more accurate since she did have a short-ish robe as I remember. But I also don't remember her cloak being blue, so… Actually, it is kind of blue, though in the episode it looked more grey to me: Am I the only who noticed the new stormtrooper Torso print for the Endor Battlepack? Or am I just crazy? Uh, no. There are quite a few posts saying as much. It matches the Sandtroopers, who have that same print but dirty. Quote
legolandia Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I remember a few weeks back one of those nice Lego employees that posts here now and again said that in 2012 one of the sets is basically being released for the last time and it won't be made again for many years to come. Would the Y-wing be that set or is it probably one of the second wave sets that we don't know about yet? Quote

PadawanMenace Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 A lot of great sets in 2012....it is shaping up to be an expensive year.. Quote

Would the Y-wing be that set or is it probably one of the second wave sets that we don't know about yet? I have my bet on the rumored Jabba's Palace. If they do it right (include a printed Jabba, Gamorean Guard, and Rancor), there is no reason for them to release that set for a long time. Quote
hjmediastudios Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Am I the only who noticed the new stormtrooper Torso print for the Endor Battlepack? Nope, I noticed it too. It's not too glaring for my new stormies to fit in with the old ones. Anyway, are the new battle packs going to be more expensive? Quote
67mountie67 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) I believe its suppose to be a dollar more than the current ones Edited October 17, 2011 by 67mountie67 Quote
PadawanMenace Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 (edited) *snip* Have you seen this? WOW....where did you find that version? I am trying to collect all of the International versions of the Padawan Menace Blu-Rays/DVDs. So far I've got the USA, Canadian and Australian releases, but I have not seen the Polish version available anywhere. If anyone can help let me know. Cpt. Dan Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 These sets just seem like they are getting better and better. The ARC Trooper in the clone battle pack looks incredible, the detail in the figure just blows me away. Endor battle pack looks great too, easy way to build an army for Rebel Commandos. Out of all of these sets, it almost seems like the prize is the new X-wing set. Porkins looks like an awesome figure. Then again, all of these seem like must buys for me! First time feeling for that one, I am just in awe of all of the great new OT designs. It seems like TLG is really taking this SW line on a whole other path, just when it seemed like it would be tough to innovate they just keep doing it over and over. Awesome!! Going to be a sad day for all of our wallets when these hit store shelves Quote

Snowspeeder Pilot Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Hello Chaps, Did you notice that Endor Rebel Soldiers do not wear gray gloves like the first figures on Battle of Endor Set? Quote
Ki-Adi-Mundi Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Soooo picky... I can understand Clones looking the same, for obvious reasons, but there should be some sort of variation in Geonosians, I think. Just don't use it as a Zombie. Problem solved. I am perfectly with the Doc. While 'playing' is much about fantasy and stuff - if one does imagine this to be just 'some Geonosian', it really has an ugly color and a pretty bad print. That makes for one more point to pass the set. And honestly spoken, what the heck do we do with Zombies in SW?!? Vampire Stormies or Werewolf Commandos, anyone? Maybe the next animated series will deal with Elven Sith or Dwarvish Jedi Masters. Seriously, that's an obvious shot too far from the fence. I passionately played fantasy RPGs for a decade or so, but we didn't have any blasters and Star Destroyers there. That simply does not fit for a second. Meddling those themes is just like 'Cowboys and Aliens' - dumb commerce, utter ripping and an aweful lack of creativity. Just my 2 cents. Quote

I put blame on them for putting this stuff into a set. I hope that Lucas reconsiders and that this was only a balloon for a test - one to abandon anytime soon. Sales of - and criticism on - the horror SW novels might speak an international language not to be misunderstood. Edited October 18, 2011 by Ki-Adi-Mundi Quote
