frogstudio Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Hi to all!!!! I've been organizing my collection during the weekend and decided to grab the chance and picture all my MOCS (some are several years old). I'll be posting them during this week, so, if you're interested in this one, check them out... :) Amongst my MOCS is this ferry barge and pier go in my city. It can either fit 4, 6 or 8 stud vehicles. Hoep you like it!!!! Comments are welcomed...Cheers!!! Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Dam it ! I was going to make the same thing for my river town.....oh, well still might yet ! Excellent piece of Lego building there 'frogstudio' and you even included the ramp too ! Brick On 'frogstudio' ! Quote
L@go Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 This is a very good idea, and very well executed - and it could well have been a set from the mid-nineties. It's compact and quite realistic. Your MOCs keep a very high standard! Quote
The Blue Brick Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I love your little sports car and the ferry is very nice Quote
frogstudio Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Thanks to all for your comments. :) Quote
Rick Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 A ferry barge would really make a nice affordable set for TLG to release. Really nice idea and execution. Quote
buddy Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Excellent MOC! It is detailed and looks like a real ferry barge. I too also like that you have added a ramp for the barge to dock at. Extremely well done. ~buddy~ Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Man you have been busy 'fs'. Great ferry, reminds me of the movie 'Jaws' Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 That is a very nice ferry-barge 'frogstudio'. I like the cabin and the yellow fences. Quote
Outer Rim Trading Co. Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Very nice MOC! I love the design of the cab and funnel. It reminds me of the style of harbour boats LEGO released in the 80's Quote
frogstudio Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 Very nice MOC! I love the design of the cab and funnel. It reminds me of the style of harbour boats LEGO released in the 80's Got the three of the and always loved them.. I find them so cute!!! I wanted to incorporate that classic feeling into this MOC. Glad you noticed it. :) Quote
HighFlyer Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Excellent MOC, a good realistic design, LEGO should release a set like this! Nice sports car too! -HighFlyer Quote
The Undo Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Your ferry is very cute frogstudio. I love it! Quote
Horry Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I am not really a fan of bumping but I had missed this one, so: thanks! Great ferry! Simple but very effective in displaying this in Lego-format. And I like the little details like the horn on the top of the cabin. Plus: the colour scheme is great. Quote
Skipper Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Must've missed this the first time 'round. Great job! It looks like a classic set built with modern parts. I dunno why, but I especially like the folding bridge. Quote
ChefAgf Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 First look made me think: Hmm.. set 4015. Looking further its only the top looking like that ship! Nicely done! Imagine this ferry with in the background the tower bridge! Quote
ryanfitton Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Thats great, a nice idea too. Thanks for posting. Quote
