Zane Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Oh, yeah, I meant shown in the galleries. ;-) Quote
sam89 Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 There's been a reply on Lugnet: As TLC has been doing increasingly, it secretly recruited 10 train AFOLs inMarch to help design LEGO train factory. The group ultimately came up with a unified red, white, and gray palette and 30 MOCs. Near final production packaging art was shown and the product should be ready "soon". Oddly, before they were even asked at the main session, LEGO officials announced that they had nothing to announce regarding the the future of 9V trains. So it looks like they revealed MORE trains (which I don't care about at all) :-| I knew I shouldn't have got my hopes up too high. Quote

alex54 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 It's a good think that TLC will make more trains. Maybe a new station, a streetcross, and why not some cranes and cargo building... I know, I'm a dreamer Quote

SuvieD Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Since when do "fans" bow down to LEGO execs? What kind of garbage is this? New sets are coming and yes info will be made available eventually but not even a text description or podcast like last year. Lame. *n* Obviously, there is something castle coming. I am sure all or most of the admin know about it. They probably know about everything that was shown by now. I am going to try and stay out of threads like this from now on though. I would rather know up front or be surprised when I see it in the store. As it is right now and is becoming a trend you can see that LEGO is willing to spill the beans but only to a select few and certainly not to the public. I know it is important to guard information from competitors but this is going a little too far if everyone in attendance has to sign NDAs. Anyway, I am going to go take pics of my mecha, build my boat, pack my bricklink orders and paint my railing. I am past the point of too much LEGO anyway. This year I spent considerably less and next year will probably be next to nothing. Which is a pleasant thought as regardless of what is coming out I won't have anxiety about it. If you know what is coming share it with my privately. At least then I know whether I should sell a kidney or pick up a paper route to have a litlle extra available. Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Seeing what a waste of time was SDCC, Brickfest is just taking the same direction :-| *yoda* Quote

God how i hate companies and their rules and stuff..and have ALL the fans gone mad?no one says anything? *wacko* *sing* *n* :'-( :-( :-/ :-X |-/ .......... >:-( this topic of ours should be called "we know so little they wont give us more" or "the things we dont know about 2007" Quote
natelite Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 i think they got pissed off that dash1218 revealed 7713, bw vs wl to us so now they require everyone to sign nda before revealing sets. oh well.... i think they are nuts...it's not like it's national treasure or something. where's the freedom of press? just talk to a press member anonymously dudes! spill the beans already.
