I have a feeling both our entries will be similar :-D
My fig is not that great I admit but I love its back story and its a real private joke laugh_new.gif

I have an idea of what kind of Hero you probably should show us...

But I don't think that we have the same ideas...

I just wait and see your hero...

These are my pathetic attempts. Only the last one, Pizza Boy, has a name so far. I'll be posting him as a mock entry in the other thread as an example.

This is great news, Yoda. I'm glad you recovered your files. X-D

Yeay Tks ;-)

Now you will have to read that huge story I'm writing for fun :-P

*yoda*

I wrote my story up the other day. So you won't be the only one with a big origin.

I'm thinking I might do a picture story for it, for outside the competition (as we're only allowed one pic!)

I see no reason why you can't have a Batman-Beyond type hero or a hero of the past. Both of those can be very cool. Plus, we never said anything about it in the rules so...

I'm looking forward to all the entries.

Just a note to everyone following the contest, I'll be the only host around (at least until later tonight) as for the past couple of days Joe has been experiencing internet troubles. Any questions you have through PM should be directed to me if you had asked him until his return. Because of his absense, the topic post will not be updated if any changes must be made until he returns.

I've also come up with a name for the woman superhero. Delta Girl.

EDIT:Joey is back with a vengeance. ;-)

As long as your entry doesn't hugely exceed minifig size, if you get my meaning. Nothing like adding 15 bricks to the legs just for height.

A few questions,

1.)Are we allowed to make our own custom fabric elements, such as a tunic, a kama, a cloak etc.

2.)my hero looks slightly evil, but rest assured he is a good guy, is this alright?

woohoo I made a banner :-)

In answer to you Crazy Boy. A lot of Heroes have a touch of darkness to them, take Batman for instance, so your 'evil looking' hero is fine. I'll have to talk further with Thrawn about those custom cape type things though.

And in response to Darkness Falls, I know you guys want to make your heroes the best, but don't be shy. You never know, the first entry could be the one that catches our eye the most ;-).

Custom cloth accessories are allowed. This was intended by the cape rule.

And too right. We want as many entries as you can, and we'll judge them all fairly. And besides, if it comes in now we'll have more time to appreciate it. So post away everyone!

EDIT: We've got our first entry, which is looking great, but we need more. Post away guys and gals!

sweet, custom fabric elements are allowed, I might just make a kama aswell.

I won't be able to post mine until about the 10th, as I will be getting a new printer for my birthday, which is on th 13th, but I pursuaded my parents to give it to me earlier, for the contest.

Well as you guys know I worked on the story last week.

And I theorised that seeing as we only get one picture to showcase our fig, might as well be a good one!

Nice entries so far guys!
